    Just installed the Mishimoto H-pipe on my 2016 GT.... Loud on the cold starts but when the motor is warmed up, it purrs like a kitten. Sounds great on a casual drive around town, no drone, then you step on it and all hell breaks loose. lol. Premium build, better than the MRT h-pipe and a few other. Car is my daily. Absolutely love it.....

    I have the exact set up and it sounds fantastic. Quality of the Mishimoto HPipe paired with the Roush axel back is the way to go.

      Another thumbs up for GT101, just bought the Roush axle-back from them, had it on-stock it was just under £700 delivered (hopefully today!).

    hi Sangeet, sounds so sweet mate. How long did you have the RAB system before feeling it wasn't enough & upgraded to the H pipe? Thinking I might just get them done at the same time but will it be too much of a noise jump? It's not a daily so drone won't be an issue for me

    • @sangeetbains
      @sangeetbains  Před 7 lety +1

      had the RAB's for around a month before adding the h-pipes. It was such a difference, for the better that is. Defo louder, and can see it a problem for neighbors if using it daily, especially on cold starts! There is a subtle drone inside, but for me, really not a problem.. so use to it...
      I've had loads of compliments from other Stang guys with souped up exhausts. Both the rabs and the M H-pipe is a great combo and defo recommend u fit it asap!!

    Hi Sangeet, that sounds great! It's hard to tell from the video but has it increased the volume inside and out by much? Any neighbourly complaints?
    Andy why the Mishimoto over other h-pipes? Clearly you did your research mate, I'm just wondering.

    • @sangeetbains
      @sangeetbains  Před 7 lety +1

      Yes adds more volume in car quite a fair bit, when compared to only Roush axle backs... Because its only a weekend toy, not any complaints from neighbors, but if daily, then I would only opt for the axle backs... Cold start is very loud indeed with these two bad boys side by side... I gotta say though, they combine very well!!

      Sangeet Bains thank you! My car isn't a daily driver either so it will probably be ok. I'm going to keep the resonator just in case though lol :)

      @realneal000 Před 7 lety

      +Sangeet Bains great stuff Sangeet. See mine would be a daily driver. I wonder what the active roush exhausts are like in this combo and how quiet they can go when needed. The active exhaust is so expensive though that I don't know that I can spend that money without knowing what it sounds like. I bet nobody in the U.K. has the roush active exhaust though.

    Lovely sound and nice looking mustang, congrats mate; how much louder are the cold starts compared to just the roush axle backs? Is there a huge difference or would you say is just a bit louder?

    • @sangeetbains
      @sangeetbains  Před 6 lety +1

      Cold starts are defo LOUD with both the h-pipe and RAB's. However with just the RAB's, not too much of a problem and could get away as being a daily driver. Mines a weekend toy, therefore can get away with the insane loudness.

  • @HomelessG
    @HomelessG Před 7 lety

    Would love to know your impressions on how much the volume increased inside the car after adding the Mishimoto H-pipe. I just ordered the same H-pipe after adding the Roush axle back last week lol :) I'm hoping that the interior volume increase is not too crazy when cruising and not stabbing the go pedal! I'd also love to hear your thoughts on interior drone at highway speeds (100-130KPH is the typical cruising speed on freeways in my area). The Roush axle back on its own is ok for me- definitely louder inside but not crazy, so I'm curious how adding the H-pipe affected the volume and tone of the exhaust at various speeds.

    • @sangeetbains
      @sangeetbains  Před 7 lety +1

      It does defo add more volume in the car at cruising speeds compared to just the roush axle backs. It really depends if you want a quiet cabin as opposed to a loud exhaust...
      To some, they would say there is a certain amount of drone, but to me personally, I love it!!! Always puts a smile on my face every time i drive it...
      I guess if this was a daily car, then defo roush axle backs would suffice only...

  • @Stuffonmycat
    @Stuffonmycat Před 6 lety

    Is the sound too loud for daily driving? I’m talking 3.5k RPMs and below around the city/hwy. I already have the Roush Mufflers, but want slightly more sound.

  • @bradek3788
    @bradek3788 Před 7 lety

    Very nice, thinking same combo. Is it still as raspy or has it settled down? mine's a daily so trying to not upset the neighbours too much :)

    • @sangeetbains
      @sangeetbains  Před 7 lety

      Thx- yep it has settled down a bit and become a bit more mellowed. Still imo, the best sound for the Stang bar none.
      Saying that though, cold starts are still very loud and could possibly become a nuisance to neighbors. Depends if you're an early bird!
      For me, luckily, its just a weekend toy!
      Drone sound has settled too and is much better on highway driving. But as soon as u put the pedal to the metal, boy does she liven up!!
