Charlie Hopkinson is a comedic impressionist, impersonator, voice guy, whatever you want to call it who specialises in voices from current television shows and films. His standup is a character act about a retired maths teacher, his standup set includes impressions of Sir David Attenborough, Robin Williams, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Peaky Blinders, Tommy and Arthur Shelby and Gandalf from Lord of the Rings.
Always looking to update my roster I look to try out subscriber suggested impressions in the impressions challenge series before honing the best ones. Recently I have added Peaky Blinders and Marvel / Avengers characters to my arsenal!

I started learning impressions in 2012, at the age of 20. You can follow my full impressions journey in my new ‘How to do impressions’ tutorial series
After graduating from the University of Warwick in the summer 2013 he took 4 months out to concentrate on CZcams videos full time, including producing his most viewed video to date ‘Morgan Freeman and 40 other impressions’ with just over 12 million views. This foray into being a ‘full time CZcamsr’ was cut short as he went travelling for 3 months before starting a 2 year teaching Graduate scheme with Charity ‘Teach First’.
While teaching he has performed in and narrated the 4 episode series ‘Lookalikes’ as Morgan Freeman. The show and the narration received a positive reception. The show aired on Channel 4 during the prime time slot of Friday 10pm for three weeks. It is now currently available on Netflix. Charlie also performed with other well known impressionists for an unaired pilot.
Charlie has worked for several prominent brands in relation to their products, including google and formula 1.
Since the summer of 2016 Charlie has once again dived into the world of CZcams, for the first time producing content on a weekly basis. He is also focusing on live performance; he has performed in live venues a total of 3 times to date.

I can't even copy your accent, unless its cockney and I butcher the rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain. I can do an absolutely horrible Arnold though, and my John Wayne is even worse!

I find screaming at video games, drinking lots of whiskey, eating a ton of read meat, not having a wank for six years, hauling 200lbs of stuff up three flights of steps several hundred times every day, while listening to the 'first time I saw Andy' speech and trying for ten years to imitate it, has made me deepen my voice to where I now sound like a pixie on helium rather than a church mouse with a hard on. If I try really really hard I can sound like Jimmy Stewart in "Its a Wonderful Life" but when I ring bells, nobody gets wings.
Thanks for the advice Charlie, I will put it into practice and see if I can start sounding like a 6 year old girl imitating Darth Vader and not like a man in his 50s who barely saw any testosterone at all. Its really sad, because I used to have lots of T, and sounded much like John Cofee, but not spellt the same.

...oh oh...I’m in trouble now - after practising your techniques....my voice has dropped an octave already...my husband is complaining and now fearful that I will be attractive to females (I am one!). I know you probably see comments like this everyday, i always had a "baby-ish" voice, I cant even pronounce r's L's and y's correctly, when im on a voice call with a friend, they usually tell me "What? i dont understand" When my friend told me i sounded like a female version of a villian from a game when i laughed, it reminded me of the characters voice. It wasnt deep, actually a very normal voice, but i as i said in this comment before, i sound like i hit puberty negative times. When my friend told me this i felt.. Happy! So i started looking for turtorials, I will practice this everyday!
You said reverse helium, but FUNNY ENOUGH there is actually a gas, that is heavier thapn air, and if you inhale it, ut actually does deepen your voice to a cartoonish degree. it's basically reverse helium, but it's a bit more dangerous than helium
