Just found your channel. One trick I've learned: Wipe food out of dishes & pots & pans, then use a spray bottle of 50/50 vinegar & water to spray. Wipe out again with a paper towel & you're done. Vinegar is a natural disinfectant, so everything is sanitized with no rinsing.
Interesting to hear class A people enjoying the class B style. That's what really is attractive to younger generation is mobility and cost of ownership. Having a big bus is not cheap traveling. Nice travato I'm picking mine up in a week.
If you want magnets that work, buy the silver metal clips with magnet mounts. When we rented a Travato, we used those to hold covers over the windows and to position the shower curtain on the back doors, hang up our hand towel, etc. They worked great on any of the metal surfaces.
Love seeing your ideas! We are looking for a Class B RV and that some cool ideas. I had bought a water bottle with 2 collapsable bowls that j hook to it from Big Lots for $8 for dogs and you could hang them on the back of the passenger chair when not in use.
Hello, we are new Travato owners and found your very helpful video. Could you please provide links for the following products so that we can get the exact same items that you have: paper towel holder, spice rack, industrial cupholders, hanger clips for the headrests, and super-duper Velcro? Thank you and thank you for the video.
good idea would be if you get some of the bags that you can take the air out of them for your dirty washing which would save room and they are reuse able for clean or dirty closes
We also have a travato and do not put toilet paper in the black tank. We added a mother valve at the end of the dump pipe. This gives us the ability to join the gray and black tanks if we need it. We have not needed it. The extra valve also saves us if we forget to close the valves.
FYI, I actually use a portable bidet " no paper" secure trash bag in toilet, sprinle with horse barn pellets and cedar flakes. empty bag at stoping point. I actually installed a toilet bidet in my last camper. I have a bidet at home also. Nice to see real people on you tube.
I like what you put in your bath closet. Looking for something like that. Do you remember where you bought it or have a link. Thanks and happy travels!
Thanks. I decided to get a Yakima swingaway cargo carrier (Amazon). Much more expensive, granted, but I can haul plenty now and can still open the cargo door without unloading the cargo carrier.
Would you please tell us what you used on the table bottom? We've been thinking of switching to a lagun table for the same reason as you did. Thanks for your tips!
We used one of the legs and removed the bracket off the old table. Bought the wood for the table top, and sealed with several coats of polyurethane. Then mounted the old bracket on there and because of the size or shape, we could spin it around and completely remove it out of the way as well. It worked good for us! Hope this helps.
I was wondering if you could tell me where you got your table made that you have between the beds. This is the only problem I have not having a table for two.
That's a lot going on in the back there, you just might need a larger class. Have heard about many owners with issues regarding their back doors not closing all the way, especially at the top. Some put a spare tire plus other stuff too, I'd be worried about all that weight on the door. Unless I missed it, looks like there's no way to see the license plate.
You are correct, we modified it because we were worried about the weight. We also liked using our back doors. Thank you for watching us and commenting.
We got the table at Home depot, it was unfinished and we put 3 coats of polyurethane on it. The I offset the mount so it would swing out of the way. It's working great. Thanks for watching.
Just had to add a comment about your rear cargo rack.. I've been driving driving a class B RV for years and have a large cargo box on a hitchmount.. You really don't need those unsightly Orange straps on the sides as the hitch hitch is rated for 5000 pounds and the rack for 500 pounds. I carry a lot more weight back there than you do without any issues
You obviously don't own a Travato. The hitch on the Travato is rated for 3500 lbs towing and 350 lbs hitch weight - again for Towing. There is no rating for suspended weight situation as shown in this video. The Curt hitch used on the Travato is mounted on the sheet metal Promaster unibody as the Promaster has no standard box frame like a truck does. Numerous instances have been documented on the Travato FB page of hitches bending and even tearing right out of the mount points on the sheet metal unibody. Straps and hitch reinforcement are a must for suspended weight on the Travato.
@@rogerz8051 I guess I would never own a Travato after that poor depiction. I have a 2000 Pleasureway class B that is still going strong despite being over 20 years old
We had one, didn't like towing, class B was fun, but you are right alot of money in driveway. We no own a EPRO 15TB and pull it with a 2008 Tahoe. Video coming soon. Thank you for the comment and thank you for watching us
@camposvazquez I did. It was such a superior van that I wish I would have made the switch sooner, or actually just never have bought a Thor to begin with. Thor was a crappy company 20 years ago and it most certainly has not changed, no matter how many RV brands they buy.
@@ctbrodie thank you so much for your reply... I had my eye on a Thor for sale by private part... low miles... very very good price... I keep seeing reviews about their poor craftsmanship... Ironic since they are the largest RV manufacturing conglomerate...

You are truly an inspiration. Thanks so much for the great ideas. With warm regards, Carol.

Just got a Class B! Nice tips. Thanks.
Came across your lovely channel. Y’all provide tips seniors consider which youngsters don’t 😊. Thank you both.
Thank you for watching us and saying that.
Great idea using sleeping bags and a flat sheet. We'll need to try that. Thanks.

Awesome video, what velcro did you buy on Amazon. Thank you.
Just bought a class B and enjoyed this video.
Enjoy it

Not sure, but I think it was just something from Walmart.
Where did you purchase the smaller hanging bags in you bathroom? Great video, thanks!
We got most of our stuff from amazon or wallmart. Thank you for watching us and for commenting.
Enjoyed your video
Glad you enjoyed it
I liked your ideas. I'm getting ready to switch to a Travato from a Thor Tellaro. Can you still open the back doors with your cargo carrier attached?
No, a big drawback
Thanks. I decided to get a Yakima swingaway cargo carrier (Amazon). Much more expensive, granted, but I can haul plenty now and can still open the cargo door without unloading the cargo carrier.

We keep our bread in a microwave that we rarely use. Keeps bread fresh an extra couple weeks.
Good Idea
What is the name of the closet drawers?

Wanna have fun with passerby? Stick some fake feet out the end of that bag on the back.. 😂
Hahahahaha!
What is the name and model number of your Blue Yeti? And where did you buy it? Thank you!
We bought them on amazon if you go to my link for amazon when I review the show 15 it will take you also to the bluetti
Thank you so much!
What is the name of the table you added? We have similar model but in the Thor Sequence.

I wouldn’t want anything on the outside of my van. Just how I feel
How do I get to your link about the closet storage rack can not find a link
Sorry we didn't have any links at that time , we weren't very good at that, Thank you for watching us.
Correction... d brand is called YAZI, not hazing in my comment above. For some reason my edit would not post.
How do you easily use the shower curtain in the wetbath? Thanks
We only used it sparingly. Took showers at other facilities.
sorry to hear that. dogs just don't live long enought.
Yes, wish they had a longer life span, Thank you.
I just found your channe. I'm hoping to find a used Travado
Welcome aboard!
we'd like to meet your dog.
Unfortunately Max passes last September, we miss him.
Where do you have the spare tire
where is your number plate it needs to be on show
We made sure you could see it
There is only one solution, get a 30' class A, which is cheaper to buy.
