another fantastic video Jefe!!! as an owner of 3 of the featured buds in this test (Bose,Sony&Soundcore) I have to say you once again nailed it in this video,,, I'm a commercial electrician an have my buds in all day every day in a loud environment and my go to have become the liberty 3 pro's mainly because they fit the best with no pain at the end of the day, (sony and bose give me slight pain) I have found the mic quality on the soundcore's far superior to the others as well... as a side note my other "no pain" go to's are the Jaybird vista 2's,,, not quite the heavy hitter like these,,, but a solid second choice for me... Nice work buddy,,, YOU ROCK!!!

Great vid! I have these earbuds in my top 5 too. I replaced Bose QC with the B&W PI7s. Not being able to use the earbuds independently is a deal breaker for me. Especially at the price they're selling for.

Crazy what Soundcore pulled off with the Liberty 3 Pro. I'm watching several of your comparison videos and so far the Liberty 3 Pro have stood up to anything that was thrown at them.

Got the Liberty 3 Pro for $100 at Best Buy last week. The fact that they can hang with and even beat out the $200+ premium earbuds in certain categories is absolutely insane.

Nice review, I never expected the b&o eq's would be so low on the list for sound quality, considering it's #1 on most CZcams tech reviewers list.
Most CZcams Tech reviewers don’t spend as much time with audio products as I do.
Interesting and i thought the beoplay eq would be number 1 for sound quality. Great video - i really enjoyed it! Keep up the great work!

Hey man, I'm loving your videos and reviews, also glad to see more and more people reviewing these earbuds. These seem like a perfect pair for me. But when choosing headphones or earbuds I always wonder how much sound they leak, cause I'm always paranoid that people around me can hear what I'm listening to lol. What do you think? :)
Leak is not really an issue with earbuds so long as you get a good seal.
My hubby will tell me if sound is leaking from any of my earbuds. You can also ask a friend, family member, or anybody that is very close (nearby) if they can hear them. ✌
Fantastic review! On the mic test I'd say LP3 #1 and AZ60 5th - that and the 5th for ambient make this one a no for me...Jefe did you consider including Jabra Elite 7 Pro? I'd think more folks interested in that over the B&O?
@@jnturner7828 if you speak to most people they state that the ambient mode in the Technics is fantastic and offer 2 types. Same people criticize the L3P for their ANC and ambient.
I have great both and course the Technics. To my ears better sound and ANC and ancient

It should be noted that via a firmware update these can use LDAC while using the multipoint option. To date Technics is the only earbuds that can do this. 👍

Great video. I was curious to see how Technics stacked up against Soundcore Liberty 3’s. I purchased the Liberty 3’s when the Technics were sold out and I do not regret it at all. You were correct with Soundcore’s quality!

I returned the soundcore lp3 pro for technics.. lp3’s treble was too sharp for me even if eq’d… the sound on the technics is phenomenal. Great video! As usual thorough!

Awesome video, I liked the comparisons. I've had my AZ60s for a year now, they sound good but the mic is very disappointing. I've had a few people complaining on phone calls that they can't hear me that well. I was in denial not believing them because they were 'Technics' and the amount of money I paid for them. But then I realised they work a lot better when using 2 instead of 1 during calls, but still not that good. But the listening sound quality is good for me.
El jefe I seen Gary Clark Jr 3 yrs ago 1 of best shows I've ever seen ya should check that song out but punch in when my train comes in jam in the van version it's easily best version they play of it in my opinion!!!! You'll love it gauranteed!!!! Also the 3 pro for sound blows me away every time I use em and to think they were just on sale for 99.99 is insane!!!!! I've been through so many earbuds recently and I just can't decide which to go for, please help. I've tried the edifiers nb2 and TWS330, Huawei freebuds 4, 1more comfobuds Pro, soundcore life p3 and now I'm thinking to get the Samsung galaxy buds live. I'm looking for all day comfort and great call quality that doesn't pick up my loud vaping! The edifier TWS330 were the best for cancelling the vape noise, but not the most comfortable. Huaweis were great for comfort but still picked up the vape sounds. Any recommendations for around the same price point please? Thanks again for your excellent reviews and any advice would be much appreciated! ✌🏼

I love your videos, they are very informative and were a huge reason why I choose the sound core liberty3 pro. Unfortunately, I returned the soundcore liberty 3 pro. They did not stay charged for longer than 2 hours, and they would not disconnect from my phone unless I disabled the bluetooth on my phone. The tapping controls did not work at all. I entered the app several time to make adjustments and it never worked. I contacted customer service and they were horrible. I returned the earbuds and requested a full refund. I did like the sound quality and the noise cancellation feature. I wish soundcore was easier to work with I would have liked a replacement pair.

But horrible service from Soundcore? That is surprising. Normally people rave about excellent customer service from Anker. Hopefully they can turn things around.

Sound quality is very similar in quality. Sennheiser has a bit more bass but I prefer Technics.
Fantastic comparison as usual. Just picked up the soundcore from Best Buy for $99. I returned the Amazon soundcores I bought that were $150 saved $50!😬 Not sure why everybody goes Gaga over the Bang and Olufsen for four times the price?🤪🤯

Two reasons:
1. They didn’t respond to my requests for review samples.
2. I didn’t get enough requests from viewers to justify buying them myself for review.
Just bought these and have to say they are sick. One of the best for sure! The only thing that bothers me ist when you pause with the button, the bud you clucked pauses before the other (lag) and you get that weird effect across your ears. Doesnt always happen though.

Hey El Jefe! So I just bought the Final Audio Ze3000. I don't know if you've ever heard of them before, but imho, after many, many pairs of tws earbuds later (and I own the B&O Beoplay EQs), I can very confidently say that I believe they sound around 30 to 50 percent better. I don't know else to describe it other than these have some serious concert hall energy. It's like the curtain was opened on musicality and clarity for me. I'd love to hear your thoughts on these wonderful earbuds!! And the best part of it all is that they were only $150!!

These have become my favorite earbuds. Sound quality is amazing, ANC is great too. Only little gripe I have is the battery life with LDAC and ANC on is right only around 4hrs. I wish they could last at least 6 like that. But I guess most earbuds that support this have all around the same battery life. I literally switch over to the Technics A800 once my earbuds battery dies lol. Both are my new favorite headphones. And for gaming now I got the Razer Kaira Pro for my PS5. I can honestly say I'm very contempt with all 3 of those for my listening.

You just watched both so you should know my thoughts. They are both excellent. The Technics have better app support and features overall. Not to mention costing $170 less.

Jefe, long time I have not written in your site. The AZ70 are one of my favorite earbuds. I compared to XM4, so I returned the Sony. My favorites now are the AirPods Pro, how you compare them with the Az60?

You are in the Apple ecosystem. Your best bet are the AirPods Pro or AirPods 3 for calls and good sound. Beats Fit Pro mics leave a bit to be desired.
Great video Jeff. It's great that Technics has a full app that offers a lot of customization, but it's odd the case doesn't offer wireless charging. Not a deal breaker for me, but I know lots of people like to charge wirelessly.

Two years ago i purchased JLab Epic Air ANC based off your review, and i have no regrets. However, one recently broke apart sonim shopping again. I like the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, however, this one is attractive too. In your personal opinion, which would you choose given the price right now for either is only around $120?

Forgive my ignorance El Jef, Once you've made various adjustments using the app, do the earbuds retain these settings themselves or only when paired with the app? Let's say I wanted to pair them up to a PC - would these buds still have the same settings or would they simply jump to default mode? Thanks, Jim
They should retain settings. They should only reset to defaults if you manually reset them.

Soundcores are a tad too bright for me. Great for jazz and blues.The AZ60 are a real favorite of mine. I have to say that the Lypertek Z5 are really worth checking out too. Been using them the last few days and they are completely ear and brain compatible. They are a very friendly, and remarkably clear sounding set of buds.

I recommend both. But if you prefer the design of Technics, buy Technics.
Hey El Jefe, I'm just so curious about how so many people love and can recommend the liberty 3 pros over everything else. In my testing with and without the personalized sound profile on, they were just so incredibly sibilant, I had to turn the treble all the way down, and even then, they were way too bright, I ended up returning them. Was it just me? Did I get a defective unit? Because IMHO the beoplay eq sound the best out of all of the above.
Because we don't all hear the same way. You are probably more treble sensitive than most. While I agree the L3P can be sibilant, I only needed a minor adjustment to balance things out. The L3P might simply NOT be the right earbuds for your listening preferences.

Hello, between these and the Oppo enco X2,edifier which one do you prefer? I had to return the liberty3 pro to the right ear, it did not fit well in my ear and the left side sounded louder. Regards
Glad to see this review, I have had these buds for a little over a week and I love them. The one thing I am trying to get some more opinions on is the case actually. I have the Elite 75Ts, Wyze Buds Pro, L3P and now the AZ60s. Out of all of them the case on the AZ60s feels the cheapest. The hinge specifically feels very loose and creaky when closed, it seems a little more sturdy when in the open position. I am wondering if you can confirm if yours also feel like the lid seems a little loose?

@@Soundoverload Personally, it's a tie between the L3P and the AZ60s. They are both top-tier in sound quality, but they vary slightly in sound signature. The AZ60s seem more refined and more "grown-up" to me. The L3P is more "bright" and vibrant in their audio presentation. I find the ANC and Ambient to be a little better on the AZ60s. They both have good instrument separation, but I find the AZ60s tamer, whereas the L3Ps might accent specific instrument sound over others, specifically in the highs.
Which one do you prefer?

We really are spoiled for choice when it comes to quality audio products right now. TONS of options at a great price.

I want bought it but still comparing between az60 or MTW3 .
My concern is sound quality and anc , because i feel so much pain on ears when do travels with the plane , maybe earbuds can help me when travels.
Sennheiser have stronger ANC.

Had to return mine, sharp edge on top of bud, made upper ear area Hurt. As everyone should know, all ears are created different. Wanted to keep, but for the cost, I will stick with Sony XM4. Great review, but I may try the 40`s, since they are smaller, and not worried about the ANC.

I enjoy many pairs, not going to stop buying others, just because I own one. I must keep up with El Jefe.
I bought the Technics and I'm planning on taking them back. Although they have SLIGHTLY better ANC that the Liberty 3 pro, they're just not worth $70 more since I got the LP3 for 150 at launch. If I'm paying 200+ I want every feature earbuds can offer outside of just amazing sound quality.

I got my Technics for same price. Sound on Technics was better. The sound on the soundcore was very thin in the mids and treble
