Motley Crue are legends, they always will be. The music and feel of the two bands songs are different.
Sixx AM is a whole other monster, different in everyway. Sixx AM takes sixx's experience with over 30 years of song writing experience and knowledge of writting successful and hit songs, comes redefined to write the best songs of their careers. I wonder what albums will come after Prayers for the Damned and Vol 2

Sixx didn't write all of these songs although he is good. DJ wrote some of these with James' voice in mind specifically. This is an amazing band with James voice farrrrrr surpassing Vince Neil's. I'd see Sixx AM over Motley any day.

You can not imagine how happy I am to hear this and Rise after Modern Vintage. Don't get me wrong, Modern Vintage wasn't a bad album by any means, it just wasn't for me. This though, wow, this is fucking amazing on so many levels.

I loved Modern Vintage at that point in my life feeling down and lonely I found the songs to be very inspiring and positive it helped me feel like anything was possible if I changed my thinking of my outlook on life I love Stars Give me a love hyperventilate Relief and gotta get it right so far this new music really jams

I feel like this song is the perfect anthem for anyone suffering, be it terminal illness, mental illness including Depression, and even heart break. It feels like the song is saying that you are not alone, that there are others that have suffered and survived, and that they can be there for you if you let them. this is just my opinion.

@@nikkisixx569 I love the music, I even have both Prayers albums, bought them both around when a big depression hit me. Your music helped me through it, so thankyou for the music. I am sure plenty of others feel the same, so many suffer from some form of emotional, physical, and or psychological destress and your music is a beacon for them when they need an outlet for the pain. Just singing along is a soul cleansing feeling, like all my cares are in another dimension. So once again I thank all of S.I.X.X A.M for theses amazing songs.

Sixx AM has been my anthem band since my recovery of depression and suicidal ideations. Every CD there has been several songs I've posted on my Facebook page life is Beautiful, a support group helping people with mental health issues. hoping to travel to Nashville TN may 3rd to catch them in action.

When I got to the psychatric ward after having mental breakdown, I found this song. I played it for hours in a loop and I think this is one the best songs to describe that place. This song really helped me to find myself there and got up mentally.

I find a huge difference in both Mötley and Sixx AM musically way different
Sixx AM should have been the evolution of Montley if ego didn't take it's course and Vince took cared of himself and Mars (the only grown up) didn't have to deal with his disease.

Who cares if it resembles Shinedown. I've heard many songs in my life that sound alike. BUT this one is soooo much better. You go Nikki.
Dude it's too similar and legally speaking, it does matter. Just think of how much time it takes to think of a melody in the first place just to let someone else copy-paste the whole thing (with small changes) without working at all for that achievement.

It clearly seemed intentional. Riffs, vocal pattern and song structure are almost identical. Too many coincidences.

Nikki Sixx was always the biggest talent behind Motley Crüe (I love how my phone auto corrects that to have an umlaut haha), so it stands to reason that his other hand would be awesome, and this song is my absolute favorite of his.
