Thank God for bands like SIXX A.M., Godsmack, Seether, Staind, Stone Sour, etc.....you dudes kept the fire burning while the masses went Pop/Hip Hop......
I’m 57 years old and just got home from work working with the very people who have worked so hard to raise us well and I admire them for all they have done and are still doing. I’m still a rocker at heart and I’m thankful that I’m hearing this music. Motley’s music, Sixx A.M., and so much more. I wish more people would actually listen to the lyrics instead of just the music behind it. These guys are truly putting their hearts and souls behind it.
One night I was sitting drunk and desperate .
I truly believe that that the Lord put this song in my path .
Years later and sober I still consider it one of the best unintentional christian songs ever written .

I cannot count how many times this song has been there to save me over years. However, each and every time I listen to it, it moves me and gives me hope. It tells me I'm not alone in the fact that I'm struggling with whatever I'm struggling with. It's saved me from sinking many, many times and I am so thankful to Sixx:A.M. for making it.

I haven't been hit on this level in a long time. When I first heard this song I dropped what I was doing to listen intently to the lyrics.
Sixx really found a song writing partner in James Michael... He's been writing (or co-writing) some of the best music he's written in decades with James. Their songwriting didn't really work with Motley (IMO), but Sixx:A.M. keeps coming out with great music. I've been a Motley fan for 28 years now, so that's saying something. Sixx has always been a great songwriter. Hell, it was his songs that influenced me to write my own.
Everytime I listen to this song, it gives me chills and I'm about to cry. Maybe thanks also to the video. I think that this band is too much underrated. I wish they were much more famous...

This was the one that changed everything the one athletes whisper about. This song reminds me of my journey from the darkness and I still have a ways to go.
