Rare opinion. I really liked this movie. LOVED the chemistry between the symbiote and Eddie. There scenes together made this movie enjoyable in my opinion.

I just love it that they gave 110% like Riz says, for the fans, they didn't wanna screw it up. Gonna be there opening weekend seeing this awesome movie!
I feel bad for some actors. They do the movie and they then have to do the press, but every interviewer goes full nerd and starts asking them things they don't know or care about because it's ridiculous. But they can't not answer so they give the most broadest answers that don't satisfy their nerd needs. I believe Tom Hardy wanted to do this movie and presumably loves Venom, but I don't think he cares at all about him fighting the Avengers or talking about things that aren't in the movie.

Really cool interview, you can see quite easy that everyone didn't mind being there, nice one. And I love what Riz Ahmed said about Eddie Brock and Venom, very thought provoking stuff. Like how they sort of grow and learn with each other, that's the nicest sort of symbiosis, a true spiritual bond.

Choose 1 because we can have a r rated venom in the future BUT he wont be in MCU because the rating. We can have spiderman in with venom BUT it will be PG 13 because of MCU.

Incredible Tom I think everyone can win here, because it may be rated pg-13 in the theaters, but it will be R rated on the blu-ray. And than we'll have the possible Spidey crossover. We'll get all we want and need, by the time everything's said and done..

Why can't we have Spiderman in a R rated movie? For me it's totally ok to put Spiderman in a R rated Venom movie and put Venom in a PG-13 Spiderman movie.

i find the concept of venom having his own personal moral compass to be a cool defining trait, he dosnât just eat anybody and kill at random, he has morals of those who are âpureâ and those who âcorruptâ, Venom and Eddie Brock arenât just about âwhen am i hungryâ, however, they have been making it sorta clear that they will include the aspect of âanti-heroâ rather then straight up making him look like a mindless âvillainâ for the sake of being cool.
..im a bit split on whether i think if theyâll just try to cash in on the cool monstrous/villainous factor, or if theyâll succeed in making a good portait of this iconic anti-hero that has more depth that most common fans would think.
(especially sense they donât have access to that peter parker/spiderman origin of the symbiote)
im leaning towards them succeeding and being competent to tell a story that stands in its own.(and isnât too busy hyping up the ânext big thingâ)
