What were your favourite moments in this gutwrenching episode?
This was such a dark and emotional "What If...?" episode.
The end when she said "Stephen what did you do?" as she faded away got me.
Eating the garden gnome. Kinda funny but hinting at future tragedy.
Perusing the shelf actually: Moon Knight! Rogue cover! Dark Knight figure! Then dive back into reaction!

Cumberbatch's voice acting was so great. I felt his pain.
This episode was strange losing his mind because of the trauma of re living each car crash and subsequent death of Christine. He basically was fighting within himself
This was such a dark and emotional "What If...?" episode.
This is basically just like The What If Comics they always ended on a sour note.

Having recently dealt with death... this is just like replying the moment over and over in your head.

An amazing episode like someone else said definitely the best one, also the darkest and for me the one that has had the greatest repercussion. I was also thinking seeing doctor Strange using the time stone the way he did trying so desperately to save Christine, it reminds me of infinity war, how he looked into future and it's quite bleak to think he not only saw the future but also living each and every one of those outcomes. Also watching this episode do you believe there will be an episode of what if the watchers were to ever intervene? surely we have to see at least one instance within one universe where they actually do, especially as you see the role and how close he came to actually intervening in this episode.
I definitely think Uatu will intervene by the end of the series probably last episode setting up something big to come.
No Happy End here. Disney getting real for once.
Despite liking the whole episode, as dark as it was, I really liked him breaking "the fourth wall" by sensing and finally speaking to the Watcher.
This is being true to the Marvel What If Comics of the 80's and 90's they always ended on a tragic note.
Yep the watcher starting to interfere and become a part of the story was very big. Hopefully we see more of that as the series progresses

I always love your analysis because you find things I totally missed, especially since you're well versed in Marvel!! I loved this ep because it's sooo real - it's such a human thing to want to prevent loss and sometimes you just mess up and seeing a hero that we idolize go through the same stuff we do is nice. The music and voice acting in this ep were SO good too.

While you can't undo deceased loved ones time of passing, you can however seek closure through time travel.
Virgil Hawkins Static Shock did this once upon trying to prevent his mom's death in the Dakota riot years ago. He returned to the present with closure, knowing his mom Jean Hawkins is proud of him.
Static Shock episode Flashback, ignore the idiot character Nina Crocker Time Zone who later gets rid of her time manipulation powers the butterfly effect after being kidnapped by Ebon one of Static Shock's villains.🤦🏿♂️😒
