- In this video I try to learn some Polish, a language I am quite curious about, using an old book that I bought years ago. I study the language a little bit and compare it to Russian, which I already speak quite a bit of. Polish is such a beautiful language, so I hope you enjoy studying it with me!
Huge thanks to all my channel supporters and Patrons!

I am impressed with correct Polish pronunciation.
Oh wow, thank you!! 🤓 I'm so happy!
Polish people, myself included, don't really like comparing our language to Russian. and historically those languages are in different groups of Slavic languages.
Oh, really?? Sorry! 😭
I think Polish works so well for ASMR 😃 Even more with your voice!
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Impressive pronunciation. Well done!

poza tym wszystko dobrze :)
Hi! I'm so impressed by the effort you put to learn a correct pronunciation of the Polish words - some of them sounded practically pure😊I have only a few advices (but you maybe know it already as the video was made 2 years ago and I only intend to help you to master the language to perfection as it's already close to it🙂). First - that the Ł letter doesn't sound like L and it's pronunced exactly like the English W. Many foreigners do not understand it at first because of the way the letter looks. But the shape of letter looks this way due to the history of language and it doesn't say that the sound is close to any other letter... which is stupid but it's just so🤣The second advice would be to not add "Ja", "Ty", "On", etc. at the beggining of sentences as in Polish the way sentence and endings of the verbs and adjectives are formed says us everything about the number, and the gender. So, there's no need to add the extra pronouns and it sounds like saying "I don't want nothing" in English for example😅And the third one would be to not base so much on your knowledge of Russian because western and eastern Slavic languge groups developed sepsarately since the 8th century and the level of mutual intelligibility between the languages is close to the level of the mutual intelligibility between the English and German or even lower and as I feel from my own expirience most of the words that sounds similar have another and sometimes opposite meaning (like, the word meaning "to remember" means "to forget" in Polish or the word "morning" means "tomorrow", the word "sofa" means "carpet" and so on) and it can make learning even more complicated sometmes. It could work well for Polish and Ukrainian or Polish and Slovak as the similarities are suprisingly huge, but... it's just a warning from a native speaker that knows😅
And enjoy your leaning time and I wish you C2 in two years😊
Thank you!!
@@WelshASMR82 I really hope it will be useful, 'cause you're doing absolutely great job!🤗

Oh really?? ☺️ Thank you!
Очень хотелось бы увидеть, как вы читаете какую нибудь литературную книгу на русском! Как всегда видео потрясающее
Хорошая идея!!! 👌 Спасибо большое!
Learning the genetive etc. is a waste of time because we do understand very well even if you don't change the ending of the nouns. The most important is to learn words and basic tenses and the noun endings will come naturally with time. For me, as native, focusing on learning them is a massive demotivation and waste of time. For example "ide z pies na spacer", should be "z psem" but we understand without any problem what you mean. Ease of communication is the most important :))) my fiance is Englis and after 6 years our dog "speaks" better Polish than he does. Dog understands everything and my partner only few words so you are very good.
😂😂😂 your dog is a genius! Actually, your comment is amazing. So reassuring to know that it isn't as important as I thought. It's a great motivation to keep learning - thank you! ☺️☺️☺️
Very good. I wish I could read in Welsh as you can read in Polish hahah. I go to Wales about 2 times a month for weekends. I like Wales, it reminds me of Poland 🇵🇱 my favourite mug is from a bin in Wales and it has a Welsh flag on it :D
I want to visit Poland, it looks beautiful!
