  • Driving in Melbourne Australia (Aussie city with the most Skyscrapers at 67 vs Sydney at 52). Downtown to the richest neighorhoods of the city. Downtown to Southbank, South Yarra, Toorak, ending in Hawthorn. I like! Even drove around the track where the host the Formula 1 race! (not in this video).
    Starting Points: maps.app.goo.gl/ZGtiTNGJ2UjZd...
Melbourne, the capital city of Victoria, is a vibrant hub of style, sport, culture, and dining. Often regarded as Australia's cultural capital, it's a city famous for its eclectic art scene, rich history, and dedication to celebrating a diverse range of lifestyles and cultures.
    Key Attractions:
Federation Square: A modern piazza, Federation Square is the city's cultural cornerstone. It's home to major cultural attractions, world-class events, tourism experiences, and an exceptional array of restaurants, bars, and specialty stores.
Royal Botanic Gardens: These internationally renowned botanical gardens are located near the center of Melbourne and offer a peaceful escape from the city hustle. They feature a vast collection of native and exotic vegetation, beautifully landscaped gardens, and serene lakes.
Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG): A mecca for cricket fans, the MCG is steeped in sporting history and also hosts Australian Rules football matches. Tours of the stadium offer a behind-the-scenes look at this iconic venue.
The National Gallery of Victoria: Australia's oldest and most visited art gallery, it hosts a wide range of international and local exhibitions, events, and programs.
Queen Victoria Market: A major landmark in Melbourne, this open-air market is brimming with fresh produce, hand-made goods, unique apparel, and souvenirs. It's a great place to experience local flavors and culture.
Melbourne Museum and Royal Exhibition Building: These neighboring institutions in Carlton Gardens offer a fascinating dive into natural and cultural history. The Royal Exhibition Building is also a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Great Ocean Road: While technically not in Melbourne, this famous scenic drive is a popular day trip or multi-day tour from the city, featuring stunning coastal views, quaint towns, and the famous Twelve Apostles rock formations.
    Culinary Scene:
Melbourne is renowned for its diverse culinary scene. From bustling laneways filled with cafes and coffee shops to high-end restaurants, there's something for every palate. The city is particularly known for its excellent coffee culture, a wide range of international cuisines, and innovative contemporary Australian cuisine.
    Arts and Culture:
Melbourne's laneways are filled with vibrant street art, and the city hosts numerous festivals throughout the year, celebrating everything from comedy and film to food and fashion. The Arts Centre Melbourne is a focal point for performing arts.
    Shopping:
From local boutiques in the laneways to the luxury retailers of Collins Street, Melbourne is a shopper's paradise. The city's diverse neighborhoods offer a variety of shopping experiences.
    Outdoor Activities:
Apart from urban attractions, Melbourne provides easy access to nature and wildlife. The nearby Dandenong Ranges and Yarra Valley offer hiking, cycling, and wine-tasting tours.
    Best Time to Visit:
Melbourne's weather can be unpredictable, often described as "four seasons in one day." However, the city is a year-round destination. The summer months (December to February) are warm and lively, perfect for enjoying the beaches and outdoor events, while the cooler months bring their own charm with less crowd and cozy indoor activities.
    Getting Around:
Melbourne has an extensive public transport system including trams, trains, and buses, making it easy to navigate the city. The central city area is also very walkable, and there are numerous bike paths.

    Hey everyone! ✋
My tremendous gratitude to this channel's author for the fantastic video! Despite the fact I live in Honolulu, HWI state, I've always loved Melbourne and Australia on the whole so much! I visit Melbourne on a regular basis every March, every year since 1995, sometimes it occurs twice a year if we need it, usually in March and then in October! Stunning beautiful city! It's a pity you didn't show *_the Albert Park area_* with its magnificent lake inside there and the amazing dizzy speedy race track around the main park! I ought to say here I'm a professional auto racer and my glorious sport career ever began in Melbourne exactly, that was my first race called Australian GP and it took place at Albert Park in March 19th, 1996! A new year, a new race season means a new race in Melbourne for me! ...So many warmest memories from those brilliant times!.. 😢🙏
Thanks for the video once again! My best regards ! ! ! Keep it up please!👍👍👍

There are famous songs about Chicago, like “Chicago is my kind of town” Chicago is a world famous city that everyone in the world heard of. I guarantee most people in the USA, wouldn’t even know where Melbourne is. Olivia Newton John didn’t even own a house there, as she lived the last 50 years of her life in my hometown of Los Angeles.

From all of the years travelling to many different countries and cities, I’m sorry but Melbourne is one of the most boring cities I have ever been to. Other cities like Sydney are far more interesting.
