  • Biblical texts, writes literary critic Erich Auerbach, are "fraught with background": they're often obscure, with huge gaps that provoke curiosity about their hidden backstories. Midrash, from the Hebrew verb "to seek or search," is an ancient mode of rabbinic interpretation which prayerfully examines scripture in order to discern its underneath-the-text meaning. Christians, who too often read the Bible either literally, indifferently, or timidly, can profit spiritually from embracing midrash. Fr. Kerry explains and illustrates the method.

    Hi friend.
The more I wish to find the heart of christianity, the less I feel that churches is suitable to explain life. The esoteric christianity taught by other individuals and spiritual researchers seems to make so much more sense for my nous.
Like reincarnation and the enormous depth to the way that our souls are treading to become absolutely free and whole in Christ again.
This makes the journey very lonely, as almost all christians shuns any contact with me.

My friend, the christian esoterics are hidden in the Holy Spirit. Repentance is the translation of metanoia. To transcend your human, fallen nous through divine grace. That's how Christ takes shape in you. That's when you really are the image of God. That's what it means to be a son of God. Human esotericism is like masturbation. You use your dirty fallen energies. therefore the relationship between God and the Church is shown as the relationship between a man and his bride. choose wisely. don't be deceived by paganism hidden under the elaborate mask of esotericism. there is only one pure energy that brings life and cleanses sin and ignorance, grace. research the mystical teachings of the Orthodox Church 🙏.

"Thy brother's blood cries out to me from the ground" Or maybe it refers to the generations that will not be born, crying out in protest.
