- Today our job is to drive our centurion tank and other military vehicles out of our museum so that we can move the fv435 that is stuck at the very back! Of course its never that easy as we have to fix our WW2 jeep as it struggles to start. Thankfully our Alvis Saracen and WW2 M8 Greyhound started up easily!

Amazing to think Centurion was ready for the fight in 1945. We came a long way in a short time under incredible pressure. 🇬🇧👍
It definitely would have been interesting to see how it would have fared if it was used in ww2
You took me back to Belfast when I saw the Saracen.
It’s a very cool vehicle!
Great video!
Wow. That must be an extremely rare relay wagon. If I remember correctly 1 per troop which was 2 per squadron.
Another great video, you just had to have my favourite tank the Centurion, mind you all the other vehicles were also good to see, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia.
Thank you for watching!
Very good.
Thanks!
After restoring a 44 GPW I could have told you the battery was low. Had it for years
Hi! It wasn’t just the batteries that were low it was also the spark plugs that needed drying off a tad
Guys, how often do you clean up the earth/ground connections on the body or the engine blocks on these vehicles??? Not very often?...clean them up with a file and a smear of grease and job's a good un!!
The second I heard the starter turning over slow, I knew the battery needed a 'JUMP'. Duhhh...o_0
The jeep needed both a jump and the plugs drying off slightly. She had been left a while and it’s been very damp here the last few months
Does the Jeep have points still or did you put in a lumenition or Pertronix? The electronic modules often need 12.5v or so to fire.
Hi! It’s still on points but the reason it didn’t fire is because I think everything was a bit damp as we hadn’t ran it for a while. It just needed a bit more umph because the battery hadn’t been on charge. Once it started it went well
It does not drink a gallon a min, no way! How bigs the tank?
It can do in bad terrain and the tank is about 120 gallons I believe. On road I believe it’s not as bad as 1 gallon a min
@Armourgeddon 2hours operation time then tanks out of juice and therefore power.
How's that compare to Tiger or IS3 say?
Great content, pity about the camera action and editing, which is in need of work. Too erratic and jerky.
Yes haha it’s hard to film and do stuff at the same time which is why the camera was so shaky
@@ArmourgeddonTanks See if you can get someone to do the camera work. The subject is very interesting and I'd like to see more. Good luck.
