What you need cheat sheet:
Level 30 Tier 8 Courser
200 Training Materials (at least)
-Rainbow Gem Fruit
-Stonetail Fodder
-Spirit Pouch of Ferocious Beast
-Breezy Conch Seaweed
-Deep Blue Hoof Root
-Pure Forest Breath
Krogdalo's Origin Stone
(optional) 100 cron stones

always avoided horses, started rollin my t8 very recently and came here out of curiosity... now im counting my spare kidney, if i have any !! :3
just os ya know..you also need an extra arm and leg just for a T8 to become a courser :))

still confused! let me get this straight, you need 200 stonetail fodders for the first attempt, and for the rest of the following attempts, you only need 100 fodders while using cron stones??
yeah me too, so you need 200 ea to awaken?
i think you already know this by now, but yes. you need 200% on every attempt, aka [1 mats/ per %] so your first will make you work for that. and if you use CRONS, it reduces every next attempt by half, aka [you only need 100 mats for the next attempt while sacrificing 100crons]. TLDR: you need 1 mats per percentage for the first attempt, if you use 100 crons, you can attempt your next with just 100mats.

Perfect timing for this guide, I just thought about what was needed to get a pegasus;; Ive been selling these items that you need dang it. Does it matter what kind of T8 you need? does it have to be pure bred or something?
That sucks! But better to find out sooner then later. It doesn't matter what kind of t8 courser it is. My Aika is an 8B - so nothing special. Good luck when you get started!

Really love your guides on everything I just got into breeding but only got t5 wild catches atm do u have any tips on how to get t6 and higher fast? Female horses are to rare to catch in the wild at t5 or even t4
Thanks! When I caught my tier 5s in the beginning, I just kept catching them, hopping servers, catching more, until I got what I needed. I think I went with 2 or 3 females and one male. Check out my BDO playlist and look at the advanced tips guide - it will explain breeding criteria for maximum results! I was able to hop to tier 7 from tier 5. Have fun!

If i just want to use only 1 mat type can i do so or do i have to have stone fodder in the mix? can i just use Pure forest breath and hoof root only??

They take less experience to level up so yeah they level faster.

It's not hard to see why so many people give up playing Black Desert, the RNG is insane.
I will just stick to selling courser training items and ride horses.
Do you have to leave your horse in with the trainer or can take it back once you added materials toward awakening? I hope that makes sense.
I get what you're saying, but couldn't tell you. I have been too nervous to take the horse out! So I just leave it in there. Hopefully someone else will chime in if they know.

can i do this with any tier 8 level 30 horse ?
Only Tier 8 Coursers. Have to have certain skills, I.E. - Charge, Drift, Sprint, Instant Accel, Sideways Move, S: Instant Accel, S: Sideways Move. So any lvl 30 Tier 8 Horse with ALL of these skills. (Must have golden horse icon)
Step 1: Get T8 courser... :thinking: this one is impossible without using irl cash
You'll also need cash when it even awakens, so you don't end up with a potato T9. Working on my attempts at the moment, sunk waaay too much money for the courser.
Just got my first T8 from an event and I had just gotten into breeding just to get one. So I guess I'm good for now
