I for the life of me can not get mods to work anymore. I was using vortex and decided to switch, but it didn't work so I switched back to vortex and now neither work.

I defended him from Araj on a platonic playthrough and the scene was a lot more underwhelming compared to a romance. He does thank you for standing up to him, but he's much less vulnerable about it and mostly seems angry/cynical talking about how he just seduced targets for Cazador, 'most of them didn't even grant him temporary bliss,' he doesn't have to be like that now, etc. I get why he's less intimate with a friend than he is with his lover who he's trying to confess his true self/good intentions too, but also given how much Astarion's story is tied up in sexual abuse, it kind of sucks that being platonic with him to start gives you less than romancing him. But maybe I just haven't unlocked the rest of the platonic scene yet?

Sorry for the novel I'm about to write here but yeah, I can't relate to the hookup scene complaint at all😆 I think it's not impossible that someone who was otherwise comfortable with a friend turns more awkward the moment that relationship is "upgraded" to a romantic/sexual one. Even though these are the same people as before, there can be that mental shift that goes "oh so we're becoming a THING thing now". Which can kinda turn someone into a nervous mess lol Personally really like how fidgety and absolutely cringefail he is there so much lmaoo Not only does it make a lot of sense to me (there's really a LOT to be nervous about there, canonically and realistically lol) but I also find it hella sweet coming from his character. Someone who generally likes to come off as a suave, smartass "rebel at heart", falls on his as in front of the girl he fancies lol To me, the whole scene emphasises just how much these two idiots like each other in a "non-Hollywood" way, and emphasises the importance of one in the other's life. Love the gentle forehead touch, and love the fade to black as he reaches for Shep Listen, I understand a lot of people are curious about human-alien sex and would have liked to se some steamy action lol - but think about it... this isn't just a turian and a human getting it on. If it were, there wouldn't have been so much prep and build up also. And yeah, no, all that worry about them getting together and having the perfect setting was def not just about clinical stuff. This is Garrus and Shep chosing to act on their feelings after knowing eachother just as good friends. They MAY want it to sound like they just wanna bang the stars out of each other, but it's really not just that. There's some deep sentiment there And also, let's be real- there's no way it actually got as good as it could be their first time around lmao. It most likely WAS awkward and kinda weird, maybe even for a couple of times more, and that's fine! People either get over that awkwardness and realise they really enjoyed themselves still! But I like the non-spiciness and the fade to black especially because it makes it a moment of true intimacy, not a performance for an audience to see. It's so cute Okay I think that's all I have to say about it 😂

I'm having trouble with the ModFixer. It's stuck in overrides and mods don't seem to work and I get a screen of a bunch of naked men at 2 health.

In the first one, he's basically saying that he's willing to put his guard down for you because of his emotional attachments, while in the second one, the trust has already been earned and he feels completely secure around you. Both are powerful in their own ways

I whole heartedly support and agree with this vid! I also seen vids stating that takemura is tricking us into getting what he wants. Well Welcome to NightCity! Pretty much all the characters we (as v) interact with want something from us and we want something from them! But what I think makes it different is that Takemura is one of the main characters that we spend a lot of time with! Hear me out: With Takemura he pretty much helps you start your journey to finding information that can help you and him. He is like a guide (at first) and your first partner in the story. Then you meet with Judy and panman. Now after helping Judy with Evelyn she’s pretty much not important to the rest of the story (only for romance/ extra missions) and same for Kerry and River. Once you finish and get your information they have no more point (at least story wise) in the grand of things. However panman and Takemura are with you for mostly the whole game. They even join your final battle (depends on your ending). They have more time with us (V) more character build up and missions related to our V’s story. It just makes more sense to have him as a romantic interest since we are spending most of our time with him, it happened with Panam why not him? 😢
