Have you actually played it? Because from my experience last night and all the good things on Reddit, it is way better than all these videos from content creators have made it out to be.
@@CottonXS well to be honest.. right driving style and default setups make it feel better... sadly to go quick you need to play it like the F1 mobile game😂 there is potential in the handling model... but now it does need changed
@@GPitstra37 2-3 weeks we get a patch. But I honestly don’t feel like being quick meant anything bad had to happen. I made my own setup for Bahrain, managed 1:28.7 on 105 ai
@@CottonXS when i played beta, the creators made it sound BETTER than it was even though they were still slagging it off. They cl.learly made improvements

But why? It’s not a realistic driving view.
@albezar Happy to race forced cockpit as well, but the higher angles offer a competitive advantage IMO.

Can and wil you make a video from your button settings? I know it's personal but than we have an idea from what's important and witch button to use.
Could you do a short video on how to adjust default setups into something more stable/comfortable? I don’t want you to give away your esports setups/prep, but small ideas so casuals like me can adjust to the new handling faster?
I don't know the configuration of the steering wheel's rotation linearity, but perhaps it could be raised to a value and thereby lower the degrees of rotation. I haven't tried it because I don't have the F2 24 yet. You could try it and maybe the driving will improve.
So I have the Formula Wheel Add-On Ferrari SF1000 Edition with PS5 and TGT-II Base, during a race when my DRS is available and I click on the button on the wheel, nothing happens and I don’t go over 160ish or so. I reassigned the button several times and the DRS still doesn’t work.

They need to fix the handling, on fast corners I feel like there’s no force feedback at all, like I’m driving with a controller instead of a wheel

Hey Jarno, it would be great if someone could provide the recommended "Presets" for each track from the in-game menu. So, for example, Monza would be Ultra Low Downforce etc. Instead of having to download some of the eSports guys settings, which are in most cases based on qualifying/one lap best times.
Why I don't have Force feedback on xbox with Logitech G923? Is anybody have the same issue?

On the simulation settings, i dont undertand inthe pit lane temperature, do i have to keep it on or off, what exactly do both options? Is not clear on the desceiption of the option
If you keep it on the tyre temperature drops while driving through the pitlane. If you keep it off they don't drop.

Thank you for this video!! f1 24 is not a lost cause. Work on ingame adjustments. Those who think that they will jump in and race are not realistic. WE ALL have different wheels and controllers. Take a lil time and learn the game and if you still dont like the game go back to f1 23. The same goes for me!!!
There is no hud customization folder in my games / f124 folder.....wonder why....

@@jarnoopmeer I was trying to upload your HUD customization file...do I have to create the folder manually? I was on PS5 before last week.....so I am totally new on PC
If you edit one thing about the hud on the game it should create the hud folder. You can then paste mine in!
Why do you have a 240 hz screen, but lock your fps on 60? If i play on 60 fps on my screen it feels very stuttery
It’s the game engine. Car performance and kerbs are best at 60 fps.

@@snugsel5412Yeah it's an issue for guys on PC, particularly on higher end PC, I built a new one a few months ago and I can run 200fps in warzone but on the F1 games the engine is just crap. Basically a great PC is useless for F1. They are still making it available on PS4 so until they move it to a brand new engine we are basically stuck having to cap FPS. Also I've noticed if I don't cap it's not just slower but you will get these weird occasional frame rate drops out of nowhere, I'm on an RTX4090 I'm not sure if other GPU having same issues but definitely the 4080 and 4090 have had this problem which is weird considering they are two of the best GPU you can buy

Its amazing how awful make that game. I play only f1 from 16 and asseto corsa amd really first time a game is so bad, its totally arcade game from 2000s. I am thinking refund and focus on asseto
