Set an alarm for 0250 after I saw there was a predicted meteor to hit in the English Channel, the 7th of such ever predicted from Earth, and although there was full cloud cover I managed to see the flash from the fireball that it created. It was definitely brighter than I expected with the sky lighting up even with the cloud and the south coast got an amazing display of the meteor. I believe it entered the earth's atmosphere at 02:59:21 UTC, being ~1 m wide doing no harm but creating an incredible spectacle. The meteor originally had the temporary name of Sar2667 after being discovered in the evening of the 12th before it was given its permanent name of 2023 CX1.

Well done for capturing what you did, I didn't know anything about it until waking up this morning, and was very puzzled that it was actually forecast... Amazing to think that's even possible!
And a little sobering to think we only had, I believe around 4 hours notice 😐
