Twelve Hours in One Minute

Check out this amazing time-lapse video the Rochester Civic Music team captured at the season finale of the 2022 Down by the Riverside series featuring Kashmir and 9th Planet. The video shows in 60 seconds what takes our staff and crew 12 hours to prepare the stage and park for a typical Down by the Riverside show. Shout out to Fette Productions, Gemini Backline, the staff and crew at the Mayo Civic Center, and the I.A.T.S.E. Local 13 stage hands for their long hours and tireless efforts to help make these shows happen. And a special shout out to Civic Music Production and Community Outreach Coordinator Paul Atkins who leads and orchestrates the whole ‘symphony of production’ to make sure these shows go off without a hitch. As the saying goes, “the show must go on!"
