Yeah it is totally possible to complete the game whilst ignoring most content. It is more fun to mod it and go around with say a modern UMP45 and doing said content imo
Mostly because Bethesda wants you to explore. It’s like how in Fallout 3 the main quest literally only takes you along the southern half of the map. Fallout 4 likes to hang around the center of the map with a few western and eastern sides depending on the faction. This is actually counter to how obsidian did it in NV, where there’s not really an unknown location that you’ve never seen before because NV main quest takes you around the map.
Personally I prefer Bethesda’s “let them find it on their own” philosophy over Obsidians “let’s show them everything and see if they want to go”
@@handleonafridge6828 NVs design was very clever to put OP creatures in the line to NV strip, you could do it, but it was easier to follow the "path".
Just wished NV wasn't rushed and didn't had to comply to older hardware.
@@MasouShizuka I always put the tommy gun. Lower the damage as much as I can have infinite Ammo and just spray a room full of bandits. No ads or vats

This. It's not a game that's issue-free and lots of complaints are spot on and valid.
But damn if it remains one dam beautiful game. I didn't play it as much ad other bethesda games, but this clip litey made me want to play the game again.
The amount of effort is incredible. The choice of locations as well as the outfits to go with them was brilliant but too, now you just need to add the wanderer on top of this video

0:12 somehow I never realized the trees grew over 200 years, I thought they had died when the bombs went off and later more seeds ended up where the new trees are

Worth it. I almost have 4000 hours in Fallout 4 and it still remains to this day as my favorite game of all time. Loved this, well done.

Almost 25 years ago, Fallout was first released. It's like the series has come full circle with this video. From right before the bombs dropped, to 210 years later.

The amount of hate this game got from the new Vegas and fallout 3 communities was unreal, I've loved fallout 4 since it came out, still my fav fallout too date, don't get me wrong new Vegas and 3 were downright amazing but fallout 4 felt fresh and new which I was a big fan of
was my first fallout game, i went to try out new vegas after discovering people were saying online how great it was, and i agree the missions feel alot more decision oriented and i perfer that but the combat mechanics are dated the weapon crafting in fallout 4 is awesome but the dialogue choices and the world building around your choices dont feel as impactful but its still a fun game it just lacks going back and being able to play multiple playthroughs is all.
@@Andrewbaysura1 Personally if they do make another Fallout, it should be in Europe or Asia. After all, we only see how things are in the U.S but never across the ocean

This is one of the most beautiful portrayals of Fallout 4 that I have ever seen, and it truly just shows how underrated the game is.

Fallout 4 was my first Fallout game in the series love the base building,characters like Nick Valentine,Piper,and Danse,the world itself feels dead,nice variety of enemies,lots of different ways to play for different playthroughs,nice weapon variety,and the different factions my favorites are The Brotherhood of Steel and The Minute Men.
That was a really cool and enjoyable view. Thank you for making it ^^

Just watched this one after the 1 minute Fallout 3 video, and it really shows just how beautiful the Bethesda Fallout games are, and how much thought, creativity, and effort was put into creating the world!
Knowing how huge this game is and how long it takes to get to the point where you hit the brotherhood with artillery, I am shocked it only took 12 hours

This game is amazing I have been replaying it and realize how great it really is. I remember when it first came out and I started playing. It was game of the year for a reason.
Fallout 4 is in certain aspects better than Skyrim (As Skyrim is better in certain aspects), too bad Fallout 4 was esentially abandoned...

@@doomslayer5644 Well yes, but compare It to Skyrim (Even when SE/AE was not a thing), plus FO4 modding is normally a pain in the ass.
Don't think it was abandoned. They fullfilled the DLCs. I mean yeah, Skyrim got many further editions but was that really caretaking of the game? All versions kept the same bugs in them and the final anniversary edition ruined the work of a decade of modding. If anything, they treated F4 more fairly by moving on to 76 and Starfield.

@@SusanaCanales1 after ten years of modding Bethesda decided to upgrade everyone for free for the anniversary and change the coding of the game so mods stopped working with it. So only the mods where people were still working on and new mods run on it. Many of the best have been abandoned for a long time however, and those are either lost or you have to take a ridiculous amount of counter measurements to prevent Steam from ever upgrading the game.
tl;dr It split the modding community into working with SE or AE and is a forced upgrade unless you trick the app...

I started playing this game near a week ago. New Vegas was my first game and was my favorite.
9 hours, 32 levels later and I still haven't talked to Valentine about my son because I have yet to stop getting distracted by a new discovery.
I love this game. I had my doubts but I love this game.

Still play this game on and off. Even almost 7 years and a new gaming PC later. Bought it at launch. Never actually finished the main story. Was too disappointed with how Bethesda handled the narrative. There should have been a more diplomatic option in the end. Hell, if Maxson and Father had simply pulled their heads out of their asses, the two of them could have saved the Commonwealth. With Sole’s help, of course. The Minutemen could have been the extra muscle they needed too. The story we wound up with was unnecessarily dramatic and poorly thought out. The companions were some of the best in the series though. Of course I’ve modded the shit out of the game over the years too. And to an extent, “fixed” some of the games other shortcomings. Like a shitton of more weapons. I pretty much have a small platoon of Securitrons guarding Sanctuary at all times. And Nora more or less pulled a Courier Six and survived being shot by Kellogg. She currently resides in Sancutuary with Codsworth and the rest of my companions... So yeah. It wasn’t the greatest entry in the series. But I still love and cherish it to this day.

Fallout 4 really disappointed me as a fallout but as a standalone game it's really impressive, i hope that fallout 5 take the best of all fallouts released and make the best game ever.

Awesome video man! Yeah Fallout 4 is one of the best RPG‘s ever made. The graphics are fantastic. So far I’ve played it 4 times. Actually same with F3 & NV. I’ve played each one 4 times. However that is my limit. I think I’ll just sit back drink a cola and enjoy the graphics in each game. Lol 😂.
