I always appreciate when a reviewer begins with the fitment and comfort of a pair he is presenting. Think about it, please: even when the set sounds remarkable but makes your ears hurt or ear peaces fall out, etc. would you consider buying such a set? Just mention comfort and fitment at a beginning of your 40 minutes long video, and you will kindly save time of anyone who has habit to think.
Love this set. I like to listen to ost,s and I have never heard Interstellar done so well. They say it's not a bass head iem, but they are not shy to give it to you when it is in the mix. Really has things going on with separation and instrument placement.
Thanks for the incredibly comprehensive review. This is what I call detailed! I respect the time and effort you put into listening and analyzing. 👍 Everything you said matches my own experience. There's definitely something special about the sound of the dynamic driver, particularly in terms of timbre and mid-range tonality. You described it perfectly as natural and organic.
@tonedeafmonk Please help a guy out. The Rand/Dollar exchange is killing us here in South Africa. If you could recommend an IEM below $100, I would be happy to listen to and live with for a while. The music I listen to is pretty much Rock/Metal/Pop/Electro Pop. Rock with kick drums, cymbals, vocals, and guitars is usually what I gravitate towards. I would describe my sound signature pretty much the same as yours and HBB's. I love bass, but it must be clean, tight, and not overly boomy. I love to hear cymbal crashes and details but not in a piercing manner. Vocals should not be too recessed. I love listening to male and female vocals. I don't have a DAC or DAP currently, but my PC does have an Asus Essence STX II HiFi Audio card with a headphone amp, which works great for the moment. I will also be listening through my Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 phone. I have a UGREEN USB C to 3.5mm Headphone Audio Adapter, HiFi DAC Stereo 24bit/96kHz USB C to Aux Jack to connect to my phone. What would your recommendation be?
That falloff in the treble is the one thing that tells me it's not for me. I'm still on the lookout for sets with good bass response, not too abrupt and strong ear gain and fairly even treble between 3-10K. Not too many of those, it seems.
How does it compare with DaVinci? Because for that price i might give it a good thought. The ONIX Alpha was one of the best recc purchases i've made so far
Possibly not a fair comparison based on the price difference, but how does the Artti R1 compare to the Dynaquattro? I only want one multi-DD in my collection, so if I get the Dynaquattro my R1 needs to go.
thanks for the early review TDM , I have problem with the Zenns Top and CCA Hydro for their Separation and the Pilgrim sounded slightly Tiny ( slightly lean ) to me , I have return/refunded all of them , so, how do you rate the separation on this set 6/10 ,7/10 , 8/10 or higher , this affects the clarity on IEMS. I don´t want any more return/refund again , I did the refunded on SLT6 as well if you remember me .Thank You . My favourite set is still the P8 with lower the mids on EQ .P8 don´t sound good with average gear pairing , itś just picky on Dac Amp pairing , it loves power , Top Ear Tips and High Quality Cable are required too , stock cable sound light weight and lean !
Sounds like this set won't be for you, not a standout iem for separation it's more of an analog sounding set. Inwould try the Shanling ME600 or Xenns UP then
sir please suggest , i already got em6l , better picking this DYNAQUATTRO or davinci ? also i will pairing with onix alphi x1 which is still on shipping
Great review! Question: Where can the song "The house of the rising sun" from Joan Baez as a dsd 512 file be found or bought on internet? Keep on doing the good work Tone Deaf Munk! 👍👍👍👍 Warm greetings from the Netherlands.
As someone mostly new to IEMs, would it work well to use these with a AP80 Pro-X MP3 Player or also a SHANLING M0 Pro? Or would that be insufficient and I'd need to pick up some portable headphone amp along with either of those?
So do they (binary acoustics) mean to count that passive radiator near the powered low frequency driver as a 2nd driver, bringing the total number of drivers (powered or not) to 4? Is that how they get to the 4 (Quattro) number? Or am I totally off base and there really is 4 separate powered drivers? The reason I may be confused might have to do with the way the drivers were talked about during the video... only 3 drivers were talked about in detail.
@@tonedeafmonk then how are they getting to the 4 drivers per side count? Because if you look at/read the website, they sure make it look/sound like there are 4 dedicated drivers each side, L/R. Now I'm really confused?? And if it's not 4 drivers, why on earth are they calling it the Quattro?? Now I'm even MORE confused?!
@@tonedeafmonk Sounds like a slogan...but ok. There is a whole direction with an emphasis on naturalness based on a dynamic driver, with a lot of fans. From what I hear - * DUNU ZEN Pro * Sennheiser IE600 * INTUAURA Lakeview * Softears Twilight * Oriveti OD200 and many, many others. From carefully watching your video, I get the impression that DQ, although not head-to-head, is definitely a step forward. When your emotions from the “first month of marriage” subside, will you remain with your original opinion about this DQ technology? It's a pleasure to watch you.
@Stoyakoff2024 let's put it this way I have done 3 more IEM great ones since I shot the DQ vid. I am taking off camping and what do I bring out of the 40 IEMs I have the DYNAQUATTRO and my Kann Max DAP. That's saying alot. After giving them a break and picking them up again I feel I should have been even more enthusiastic in my review. 😄
First the 7th Five, and now this. Chifi madness took a turn to a new direction ha
In a good direction!
You sold me a set. Loven them they are definitely keeppers.
I am so glad you picked up a set I really do love the bass and mids from the dynamic drivers on this set!

I agree. I'd add that unvented/badly vented IEMs should be mentioned. I personally can't deal with the pressure build-up with unvented IEMs.
Love this set. I like to listen to ost,s and I have never heard Interstellar done so well. They say it's not a bass head iem, but they are not shy to give it to you when it is in the mix. Really has things going on with separation and instrument placement.
Agreed love how the DD does the mids and highs as well!
Fantastic review TDM, the DynaQuattro for 260 is insanely good ❤❤
I see it on as $233 in some places as well $260 more than worth it yeah!
Great detailed review TDM! The face plate of the dynaquattro looks so good.
Such an elaborate review. Excellent pricing on the Dynaquatro.
Thank you kindly!
Ima gonna HOLD!! til at least the end of the year/Jan next year. Anticipating further developments and releases that will garner banger of the year.

Hmmm....I'm all full up right now. Maybe I'll have to revisit this sometime down the line.
Adrift in Aether!!!!!👌Like the LOTR shirt too!
I expected it would be around $300. Very good pricing indeed.😮

KEFINE DELCI
@@tonedeafmonk Thank you so much! My mind is made up then. Delci it is!!
I really like how you described these. Going to listen to Andy and Tony's review, as well, but these are def on my radar now!
#teamagingaudiophiles
A brighter source and cable goes along way I don't find it lacking with the Hiby DAP and silver cable.
Good for OLD PEOPLE approved!
Great review, I'm so after in all iems that I want to buy...
Great review bro!! Loving the Dynaquattro myself as well!!
I saw that nice it's a sweet set.
I want one😊
❤ these bedroomstories man. 😂
Got one. Very nice.
Right on! Enjoy 😉
thank you !! hesitating on the 61T as some reviews mention of ear pressure.. :(((
I don't get that and I am sensitive the Divinus WIDE Bore tips I use are also pressure relieving so could be that?
Dang. Curse you, Monk!
I was hoping to not buy anything else until 11.11...
$233 on sale today think they did that on purpose!
AliExpress is on big sales too double coupon like 11/11 2 days left...

DaVinci is more extended in the top end but no where close to the natural sounding mids the DQ belts out.
The purchase link does not open. I like Timmy's Chopin, but hard to get fitted. Thank you--- this looks interesting.
Still working on the edit you guys get this first sorry. Not released until 16th
40 minutes is "a little faster"?
Yeah it was LOL 😆
Great review. Do you think the Moondrop Dawn Pro is enough to drive these?
Sir can you share your playlist ? I really love it

Qobuz it was purchased from
Nicely Done.
How does this compare to the Myer Audio Slivo or D41 ?
Thanks
The difference the big difference is how the mids play back so much more natural sounding on the DQ
As someone mostly new to IEMs, would it work well to use these with a AP80 Pro-X MP3 Player or also a SHANLING M0 Pro? Or would that be insufficient and I'd need to pick up some portable headphone amp along with either of those?
Shanling or any DAP should be fine.
Juzear 61T or Dynaquattros?
Why choose! I sent both to my group see more impressions soon on ChiFi Audio Reviews on Facebook as well. Both sound different I love both

There is only 3 drivers and one filter/passive radiator not 4 drivers or a passive driver as Normally described in home speakers.

Sir please suggest between epz q1 pro and kinera celest wyvern abyss….which has best sound
Have not heard the Celest sorry
How it compare with 7hz five?
Wont be getting that one but If I get a chance will try and do a comparison for sure. Thanks
How does it compare with Em10?
Stir prefer a single DD more cohesive
Single DD can't do this playback this well this smooth.
