age up on opti was such a mistake.
It feels like you need to play each civ's meta at least once to know how to counter it.

Quick Question for the experienced players! With Japan, why do i sometimes start with two cherry orchard rickshas and sometimes only with one? I wanna send my ricksha out to scout the map, but then i realize that its my only one haha.

You start with 2 wagons if there are no starting berrys in base. If there are you only get 1 i do believe

Oh please, ethiopia already runs out of viable strategies to play in 1v1 games. Boom is expensive and slow to make compared to other civs. Fortress age have no near OP cards to play around to make ff as recent patches strongly nerfed influence military shipments. Red wagon rush is very good but it is only good option that sudanese age up makes. Jesuits age up with church wagon and boxes of exp is much preferable.
PS: gascenya is strong unit but not OP. OP thing is option to sell cows and big Bennies for wood that sustains 10x gascenya production from both racks at the start.
