Thanks for the video! I have a similar lens set for my Canon M6 Mark II and have very similar experience with them at all focal lengths. MC Rokkor 28mm f2.8, MC Rokkor-X 50mm f1.4, Celtic 135mm f2.8, and the same MC 200mm f3.5 in your video. The 200mm I've found to be exceptionally sharp, and although heavy, to be quite an under-rated lens. I fitted it with a DSLRKit A001 tripod collar to make it much more stable on a tripod, using thick, wide rubber bands to fill the extra gap between the lens barrel and collar.
The 200mm is honestly one of the best budget lenses I've ever used, its insanely sharp. Also love the 28mm :)
Great video! I got my first MD lens now, and wondering which adapter to buy for my A7iii, so this video helped me out a lot
I have the 58mm f1.2 and I’d highly recommend you get it it’s sharp and amazing to use in general bokeh is amazing as well
I wonder if I’ll every cross paths with that lens, if I do, I’ll make a video!
Thanks for the video, great job!
Is these Minolta mounting are the same as X-Fujinon DM 50mm lenses?
Hi there! I was wondering is "MC" in green colour on some lens i want to buy actually for minolta, so i I'm wondering which adapter to get for my Nikon FF. Response is much appreciated.
PS i love your photos!
Hello! I would like to ask for help. I shoot using fujifilm xt2 with vintage lenses and I recently purchased a vintage lens but I don't know which adapter will I need. Is there a way that I can show you my lens?
The lens I bought is Vivitar 28mm f2 wide angle close focus
it says on the marking that it is "c/fd" I assumed it is a canon fd mount and I already have an adapter FD to FUJI X but it won't seem to fit. I hope you can help me. I can send you pictures of it but I don't know how. Thank you. I've been struggling for 2 weeks now and already bought 2 wrong adapters that I don't need. :((
That is odd. It should work with the fd Adapter you have. Please send me a picture via Instagram, I’m @antnie
I have a huge question, I have the 50 mm of minolta and a canon t5, with an adapter can I get good portraits?
You’ll have a great lens for portraits!
Can we manually change the aperture using the aperture ring on the lens or the camera will lock it on the brightest aperture only?
On my Sony camera it will let me change the aperture on the lens. Most camera systems should be this way.
@@Antnie thank you! My camera is a sony a7iii.
how about the minolta 100mm f/2.5
Hello Antnie I have a MD 135mm f2.8 and I want to use it with my Canon 5D mark III what adapter do you recommend? adapter with glass or without glass? thanks
Adapter without glass, a simple $15-20 metal eos to MD adapter should work just fine!
Minolta MD mount lenses will NOT work on a Canon EF mount camera without an adapter with internal lens. As most MD to EF adapters are cheap, they are generally not going to give you the most from Minolta lenses. To gain the full character, sharpness and other benefits of Minolta lenses, use them with a full frame mirrorless camera like a Sony, Canon, Nikon or Panasonic.
Just want to ask was thinking to buy Minolta MC Tele Rokkor-PF 135mm f/2.8 MF Lens. Need you honest opinion, is this lens good for potrait and is it sharp lens. Thanks
It’s a nice lens especially for the price. I’ve got plenty of wonderful images with that lens.
This lens have two kinds. One have sliver aperture ring with f2.8 and other one have black aperture ring with 2.8. Have you come across the 2nd lens. Thanks

I have 200mm, if I buy this adapter it will work on Sony a6000?
yes, and the equal focal length will be 300mm
Man I recently found some of lenses with this brand I guess a old roommate left them behind before he left out of state. No clue how much they worth tbh 😅.
Which Minolta lenses are they? What does the front lens ring say? Just curious.
@raksh9 my uncle left one. It said Minolta MD 135mm f/2
how do you get enough money to buy all of your gaming heads statues?
I’ve actually sold off over half of my gaming heads statues. I was either buying them new from gaming heads or getting deals on eBay auctions. Paid for by working a lot.
