It didn't work for me on a Motorola play g it says the older apps will not work on my phone. I just want to thank you for having a nice slow and even tone with very precise instructions AND immediately understandable!!! I had to listen to you twice just to make sure I was really understanding that I understood!?? Do you know of another way to force install apps that aren't compatible with your device?
I'm having is I have my Galaxy S4 which is like the latest device and there's certain apps in Google Play that say that this app is not compatible with your device because it was used for an older version of android. Even though it's totally could run. Even trying to sideload an APK of the app it won't install.
I have heard that you can run ADB software on your computer and force install apps but I'm just wondering if there's another way without having to do all that or be rooted?

I've tried this for my phone, but I don't think it can solve my problem. A few apps on my phone have suddenly been saying they're for an earlier version of my phone despite me having them and the app working perfectly fine before that.
