I love how there’s like 8 ways to play each spec. Void knight has at least 4 viable options as builds that I’ve seen so far. It’s literally people just getting creative and mashing enemies, love it

I wanted to try something new (since ballista rogue also gets boring quite fast) and all VK I've played over years were reave or void cleave and everything is the same. You bring a fresh pair of eyes here, thank you man!
Thank you for posting this! I half stumbled into this using an abyssal echoes build off of maxroll when the weaver gifted me some extra smite juice. The echoing double cast is just so much fun! Using the fissure skills on the bottom of the smite tree can really help smite and healing hands clear the story and some early monoliths, but it looks like I need to reinvest those points into the better damage scaling.
So happy to see Krip back playing arpgs. From D3 to original POE racing days, to this. I love it.

He is facetanking it with 0 uniques. I don't know why people expect all builds to trishot orobis at C215. When falconer, warlock and RM are going to be nerfed, a lot of people realize the game is a lot harder that it seemed to be.
That build might actually be one of the strongest non bugged char.

I've been creating several unique VK builds.. Void smite with healing hands is something I started on, but wasn't sure which direction to take it and what I wanted it to look like in end game. Particularly I couldn't decide which attribute scalars to use...

damn man, absolutely love this build! tried it out right away when i came across this video, and it's just super versatile on top of it.
i switched boots for mercurials with movespeed and rank 6 experimental haste, i still havent been able to grab 1-2LP Mountains.
it got me to experiment a bit with the build, it seems for farming, echo bonus damage seems to work really well too if you cant reach the vital cap of 90.
not sure untill which corruption level this will hold, im not even at 200 yet, but the damage is so crazy, stuff just vanishes before they can deal damage :D

I'm 140 hours into this build -- with very minmaxed gear you can still speedfarm 900 corruption while facetanking everything. You can push higher than that but you might need to move out of stuff sometimes :)

Never seen myself above 20k ward.
I went for the vitality cap of 90 over strength.. so perhaps it is strength that i’m lacking.. as it provides 4% armor per point and indirectly boosts ward by 4* per point on top of
don't underestimate 4/4 urgent healing in healing hands. STR is important as it both scales armor and ward -- Try to stay over 90vit but invest more in str to balance your stats out. Don't ignore armor on gear, notice Kripps builder has a 700 armor chest and the 320 armor blessing. Frailty and Chill sources are both very helpful. Finally, cast speed directly boosts your ward as well since you'll be able to spam more smites. Getting 2-3LP helm of the mountain, 2lp cleaver, and 2lp boots of the mountain shouldn't take too long (in CoF at least), so you can get a lot of stats that he doesn't have in his planner. @@firerunner1

So question about the echos, if you were to say trigger smite with multistrike, could both the multistrike and triggered smite echo separately? Or only the multistrike? Reason I ask is healing hands wouldn't echo since it's not a void skill but not sure how deep the echo rabbit hole goes

I'm not sure I understand the iteration on Devotion amulet in the endgame planner. I'm always at full mana and dont get the attack speed from it. Or is it simply for the healing effectiveness buff?

Interesting, Void Smite is exactly what I am building right now as well. But with Vessel of Strife and Sigil of Hope respectively.
Ye can hang smites on the Lunge also :))) Chance to repeat from the smite's tree is working.

Kripp, when/if you move to the 'final' crit-based setup, is the Void Shred blessing really better than void damage or crit?
It seems like with a max of 10 stacks, at 5 each, it's only 50 less void resistance, and only 20 less on bosses (60%reduced effectiveness)- plus with only a max 50% chance to lay it on with every hit, it will take a little while to build up- longer than you probably want to be waiting on killing trash mobs. Between the limited usefulness on trash mobs and bosses alike (for different reasons), it seems like you'd just be better off getting more void damage or now crit which would work equally well on both, no?
Would abyssal echoes be a viable skill to use instead of for example Volatile Reversal?
And I have a question. I have also Health to Ward (1 per secound). The isse: I run out of health over time....! Any hint how I can avoid this? In your build I didn't see this effect. I have the same build (passiv and skills).

Don't get me wrong; I have a warpath void, wraithlord necro and falc explosive trap nearly at max level but these guys just think so much out of the box that me thinking of an original build just hurts my brain
@@EskiZagra I mean, to be fair, these guys also have tens of thousands of hours in the ARPG genre as a whole, so a lot of things like damage scaling and defensive layering comes a lot more naturally. All that I can say is to check out what your main skills(s) can do, figure out a damage angle (conversion, dot, crit, etc.), scale that, check uniques that synergize, and then build defensives for that (usually involving ward at this point). Now is the best time to start experimenting because it's not like build making will get any easier as EHG adds more things to the game.

What do I put on the helm devouring orb and vitality? Armor + Armor % ?
BTW, if you convert Healing Hands to Seraph's Blade (the melee version) it always casts on yourself even when you smite at range. I run a smite/HH paladin attunement build and use this to clear faster by smiting the ranged enemies and letting my melee HH kill the melee enemies while keeping my ward up. Still overlapping them at melee range for quick boss kills.
There's also that node that casts it on yourself no matter what anyways

Not necessarily if if you have minions or party play with friends, but yes - that is an option too in most cases (and the one Kripp uses), especially if you want to maintain spell vs. melee scaling (Paladin has a lot of good buffs for Melee/Spell hybrid builds though)

How do you keep your mana low enough to make use of devotion? Right now I am spamming sigils of hope but it regens using smite due to the -2 mana cost of spells on the boots
So what stats in items is must have to work perfetly? stack ward , spell damage or what?
I was playing void as a physical void melee until lvl 35, and after I have found some great spell damage weapon, with casting speed and void dmg, i switched all to void skills, really nice boost. Can't wait for endgame. But, tell me, what is the source of such high ward generation... :-) experimental gloves with life/ward exchanging and souls strand belt?

I just bought all the gear and hit level 86 very quick fantastic build. I just have one question I barely use any mana is devotion the right amulet? doesn't seem like am gaining anything from the amulet. Would a well rolled brass amulet be just as good?
if you have too much mana, you can spec a little out of the mana return from Smite node. There isnt really a rule of thumb here because it has to do with how often you use devouring orb, mana regen on gear, cast speed, etc. Spec out of the return mana until you mana is hovering but you still don't go out of mana

Got to lvl 90 with a spin2win void knight but it felt really bad. So today I tried this build and wow it is so strong with no gear at all! (I have like half of the stuff from the lvl 98 build) Just feels really slow but so far all builds felt like that to me.
Hi! Love the build, I'm wondering how you are staying at full life while smite spamming? My health always dips down to around 400-500 mid combat smite spamming. Also, I noticed your healing effectiveness is a bit lower in the end game build, would you ever run more healing effectiveness for more ward?
I think he is using a clicker to spam smite , otherwise you die instantly, no matter how fast you try to click on the mouse. Either clicker or some sort of macro, cause for the life of me, I don`t get how he gets that much instant heal. And yes before you even ask, all resistances are 75 on my build, it does not matter as I still get killed when enemies come in groups, specially if they are ELITES. So yeah, I don`t know how tf this build is suppose to work and clear out anything cause I had better chances of killing with ECHO WARPATH , way better than this sht

Fun Fact, Devouring Orb "Devours" when ally minions die, including minions summoned from minions. Can be laggy some times, may obscure vision.

no doubt I'm missing something here but why opt for physical damage and strength over vitality and spell/void damage? Doesn't the void damage scale off vitality for this build?
i got the same question. im running my. void now and just got some strength gear and switched. seems im doing less dmg moving from vital and spell void on. npt sure why you would opt for strength. i get the clever but doesn't do the dmg increase

worth saying, thats not a loot filter hes using, its a loot filter that generated based on the build in the planner. its ok to get started but you still gotta put some work into the filter to make it optimal.

It is still needed to calculate raw + increase damage is better then stacking crit chance + crit damage. Because every point of crit chance higher then 50% AND higher then 100% crit damage has increasingly more weight to it.
Kripp is running a unique small idol, Singulairity. its adds on hit dmg but does not allow you to crit anymore, hence why is not focused on crit change or multiplier.

So I respecced my character and just kinda patchworked some gear together and everything is going according to plan other than I'm not healing up. Is that because I'm not running enough healing effectiveness?
I didn't check the blessings and played with my gear a little more, my health regeneration is the culprit, not healing effectiveness. I imagine the Lagon blessing will fix it.

Is there a point in stacking STR if we not gonna use the Cleaver? Like can we just straight stack INT and use a Staff?
Is there a point in using Devotion if our mana is never going below %90?
Strength is giving us a ton of armor paired w cleaver of solution for more ward retention.

What is the point of devotion (necklace)? Are we able to be low enough on mana to benefit from it? Or is it only a stat stick for double resist and healing eff?
I was thinking about this and probably not point on the amu... we don't have any skill that burst our mana to keep going on low mana.
The healing effectiv it's needed and those resistances
But after that... we don't use the other stats, maybe a Bleeding Heart will be a viable option for leech, i have tried myself and feels decently, but in my current version i don't have that high crit... and we cannot leech from crits thanks to our helmet.
Then i was thinking about 1 amu that have cast speed and ward retention, don't remember name right now...
Or in the end, a crafted exalted amu... healing ef + spell crit exalted + t2 or max t3 sealed crit multi and some suffixes... on the same base that devotion amu it's cause we need those resistsnces

How does this compare to the Primalist Beast Master build you showcased a while ago?
with the right gear and set up, the rive void knight build (not this self made hodgepodge of a build by kripp) is the highest dmg single target boss melter in the game, but it is extremely gear dependant, void knight in general due to the class exclusive perk 'Echo' has some insane single target dmg and can outscale most other classes in the game in that regard.
With the "right gear" you can make any twinked char melt bosses. But that's not the point he's making here.
@@AnilKumardoc the entire premise of kripp's build here is that he's claiming it melts bosses, and I'm stating quite clearly that it's not even remotely close to the kind of boss melt that a properly geared rive void knight build can pull, main difference being that this self made build (which is very poor overall for any level of endgame activity) is vastly inferior to the many well tuned and optimised void knight single target builds currently in existence, and certainly worse than those that don't rely on ward stacking.

absolutely. With pretty good gear you'll kill most bosses without forced intermissions in less than 20s
i dont understand. What makes you get wards like that? Im trying this build and so far i didnt find anything that provides me ward like you when casting smite.
I can't seem to go over 6000 Ward while spamming everything, i have ward retention up to 67%, gloves with experimental affix and the point in Divine barrier. What am i missing?

I have a Nuke cold damage paladin judgement build I would love for you to take a glance at and tell me what you think of it?
There can be a huge variance in stats between Min -> Average -> Max, and of course this is with all of the ideal stats picked up just to show what to look out for, but it has the potential to reach between 5 million and 10 million damage within a single judgement... possibly more since I only did rough calculations and it is all theory for now. Critting was not factored in.
Things of note:
Judgment has a decent 350% damage effectiveness
Javelin gives Judgement an addition 60% damage multiplicative multiplier
Pious Offering node within Judgement is giving 1200% damage multiplicative multiplier with 800 mana consumed (can be more)
The Shattered Lance 2 piece set combined with focusing on health regen on gear is giving us a staggering base cold damage on hit which gets run through these massive multipliers
We are adding another 300% health regen with Sigils and 150% health regen with Smite for the set to utilize (You can also use holy aura for 80% more, but it's hard to give up the survivability healing hands gives).
If the item set is dropped, you can gain the extra 4 levels for judgement to cap the Purifying Flame and Divine Destructions nodes within the Judgement tree.
Javalin has a nifty 100% ignite chance to proc the Purifying Flame node.
We are adding in Dex wherever we don't have a better option to get extra cold damage on hit with the Morning Frost unique boots. (though this is not needed if you opt to drop the set items)

I have been working on a pretty great Void Cleave build also, which is arguably better as the damage effectiveness is even higher at 400% and the damage multiplicative multipliers are arguably better between it and a few other skills. It's just hard to beat the Pious Offering node in judgement, though not having to spend a huge amount of mana could be seen as quite the benefit also.
Why Blood Roost gloves in your build?
@@blaznflip none of the glove bases or unique gloves gave decent health regen or mana, so I picked that as the base solely for the up to 15 dexterity which thanks to the boots can be another 15 cold damage on hit.
You could opt for something else without losing much, but this build is only pushing for the biggest one shot possible... and that 15 extra cold damage is going to be multiplied x30 to x50 + times before then being multiplied x3.5 times by the ability itself, and then multiplied more within the multiplicative extra damage nodes of the skill trees.

If you only have 1 LP, aim for T7 health regen, if you have 2 LP, try to pick up one of the other things.... and so on.
The more you have available, the more you know what to aim for.
I would expect a realistic finished build to be about half as good as this... probably at best because RNG is a biiiii
It's also super theoretical, and I have no idea how well such a setup would even perform on high curruption levels hahaha
