A Pirates Crusade

A story of glory, greed, humanity, violence, and friendship.
This is a little fun mini project I did with my friends back in highschool. One day in my senior year towards the end of the year, I was in an art class we had an open final where we could make any piece of art we wanted. Since I was in the art room I decided to make a fun pirate treasure map. I didn’t get to finish it but lunch was next. At lunch I met up with one of my best friends Avery, he’s a really talented artist and during lunch he hugely helped me finish the pirate map. While we were making it I brought up the idea of maybe using the pirate map for a little fun pirate short. Avery was down with idea and I also asked my friend Brady, an extremely gifted actor and one of my closest friends, we asked him if he was down to be in it and he was also down. Brady and I were also taking this acting class at the time and our teacher let us borrow some the prop swords they have. After school we went to our homes and dug through our closets to make the best pirate outfit we could, we then met up at with our friend Penny who helped film this project. We shot for like two hours improving every line. Brady and I were in a musical that year and Brady learned a bit of sword choreography and he taught me a bit of it, we used that as our base for how we planned out the fight scene. I edited over the course of a few days and handed it in as me final for the art project and I got a good grade 💪😎🎸⚡️
