To everyone saying Jimmy talked too much about Zendaya, i didnt know much about Hunter before this interview, and now I know shes a great great artist, loves comic books (even planned to make one herself) and she was born in New Years eve! Shes awesome 💕
I also think that if your bringing a actress on for a show she did and they don’t talk about their costars in relation to the show that seems weird also they are friends too so it would stand to reason that they would have fun memories and stories to share but I think they talked a lot about hunter too! And that’s cool

This makes me realise how important representation is. When she says ‘when I used to be living as a boy… or whatever’ ( as a trans person myself) I related to this so much - that awkward moment when you have to come out at some point to everyone you meet. It’s a constant thing and it’s so nice seeing someone just being trans and dealing with it in their daily life. she’s so awesome 🥰🥰

I don't know when exactly Hunter Schafer made the Art Boy sketch/comic but there's an actual very popular Indian TV series called SHAKA LAKA BOOM BOOM with the exact same plot. There's a young kid who gets a magic pencil and anything he draws from the pencil becomes real. It ran from October 2000 - October 2004 with 491 episodes.

The casting of this show is so brilliant. I love that Sam Levinson found Hunter and brought out the most devastatingly moving performances out of her. Then this season, he’s added Dominic Fike! I know this might seem like an easy thing because the cast is SO talented, but inspiring award worthy performances from a runway model and a pop singer must take incredible vision and skill. No question, Hunter is a genius, but we might not know that right now if not for the imagination and talent of the casting directors, producers and director of Euphoria. A lot of behind the scenes brilliance is never acknowledged. So, I’m here to say BRAVO!!!

In my childhood days comic books inspired me to draw illustrations, especially the black and white comics. My most favourite have been the old black and white James bond artists, and their depictions of facial and action features unforgettable to this day.

I think it's great that her parents were so supportive when she came out as trans. Her parents are both pastors & the family lives in North Carolina, a pretty conservative area & there were fights in her school about which bathroom Hunter should use, but her parents stood by her.
Hunter herself became an activist while still in high shool. I think she ended up graduating HS early because the best modeling agencies wanted her to work full-time; her Wikipedia page says she would have gone to art school in London if her modeling career hadn't suddenly taken off (& then she was approached about acting in Euphoria, which was much more interesting than walking the runway even if the modeling is for the best designers & the clothes are amazing... so now she's acting full-time while modeling occassionally).
One cool thing about her - as if everything about her isn't already the coolest imaginble - is that she didn't change her name when she transitioned. "Hunter" is a name that anyone can use, & while lots of trans people want a clear boundry between their childhood - when they by necessity lived as the gender they were assigned at birth... so they don't want anyone even knowing their "deadname" ie the name they were assigned at birth, which since they're trans their birth name is the wrong gender for them...
But, since the name Hunter is so perfect for her regardless of whether she's a male, a female, or non-binary/something between (and since she was already famous from her trans activism & it's harder to change a name when everyone knows it... she just kept the name "Hunter Schafer," became a famous actor/writer/model and kept on rolling
