Virginia Beach, USA Boardwalk Treadmill Virtual Run (16 km @

Run with me on a beautiful sunny day at the Virginia Beach boardwalk. This video was recorded from a bike to minimise shaking, but the speed matches a good training pace (5:00 min/km).
The work on the beach is the Virginia Beach Hurricane and Storm Damage Reduction Project. They are adding 1.85 million cubic yards of sand from 15th Street to 70th Street to help fight erosion.

In my 20's (and living in Northern Virginia), I would visit VB 2-4 times a year. Now, living in New England, I'm lucky if I can get there once a year. This makes me smile, and want to get down there again soon. Thanks.

Good video. Nice beach. I would prefer if the camera always faced the direction it is moving (no side shots). It messes with my equilibrium on the treadmill and forces me to look away from the TV until the side shot is over. Not the biggest of deals obviously but if it occurs too often, I look for other content.
