3:45 for people interested. I'm assuming they just randomize their seeds in bulk and then just pick a set for each video. They probably just grabbed that one twice by mistake from whatever collection they have

I know you like the crazier ideas, so how about a reverse format (battle then catch) where you do a battle where each pokemon is associated with some benefit for the catching phase and when you knock them out opponents pokemon, you get it.

From the Title and Thumbnail, I thought that this video was one where they combined a bunch of different randomized starter battles, like:
1st round: choose based on highest stat
2nd round: choose based on Japanese name
3rd round: Chat Votes
4th round: Soul linked
Etc.
That would have been a fun idea!

Not really, it was Shadow Force, not Phantom Force, Shadow Force can only be learned by Giratina. Phantom Force is the one that can be learned by other Pokemon.
You should do a tournament video where each stage has a set of rules , like semi finals guess the colour scheme etc

Giratina is the only pokemon that learns shadow force, the move you were thinking of that a bunch of ghost types learn is phantom force

Y'all should do a "then we fight" tournament. Pull in some of the other guys that you regularly do these with, maybe even reach out to other folks doing the same thing, like Chilln Play and QuickGG. Could make each round a different theme: two truths and a lie, names in other languages, pick by stats, pick by abilities, dice roll, etc...

Should have went for discharge against Vintendo in that second fight. Missed on the overheat but could have took another shellside arm. So the 3rd discharge would have killed.

Something interesting to think about is that when you go by strongest move, that DOESN'T factor in STAB. Based on these videos, it seems like a lot of pokemon don't actually get a STAB strongest move at all.
