  • This is my lovely road bike Cannondale CAAD8 overview. I have been very happy with this purchase since from late 2014. I am a maniac of keeping my bike clean and shiny. Everyday I see my bike, I can't believe it has been 3 years, after thousands of km I have been riding on it. I was obsessed to my bike so much that I wanted to upgrade a few parts, such as the saddle, handlebar, wheels, tires, inner tubes, crankset, chain etc. Hope you enjoyed the overview of my bike!

I am VERY excited about this !! I have the last Cannondale Caad8 they made , a 2016 Caad8 105 ! As you know the CaadX has replaced our bikes. I was just looking at 2018 Supersix Evo because I love how low the bars are. I didn’t realize I could slam the stem and am going to go get your exact bars and stem set up. Thanks so much for a great review. Ride on 🚲✌🏼😃

No. The caad Optimo replaced the caad 8 in 2017.
I also own a 2016 caad 8. It's damn amazing to say the least.

Would 28c Gatorskin or Ultra Sport tires fit ok on Caad8? I got the Tiagra 2015 with the stock rs 3.0 rims and c4 brake calipers.

Do you still own him? I heard a couple of reviews where the frame cracked at the seat post joint.
I'm also 183 cm and bought this beauty second hands in size 54 and it fits great!

      Hi, thank you!
I don't own it anymore, bc I moved away. If you're worried about that seatpost joint, here's a tip: When riding especially in bad roads, try to not put stress on the seatpost, try to sit lightly and divide your body load between handlebars and the seatpost. Sometimes I see people in those scenarios weighing comfortably on the seatposts of their road bikes like its a full suspension MTB (which causes those cracks). Happy pedalling man!

did you have problems with the fsa crankset? on my fsa crankset the chain gets stuck quite often, when shifting from lower chainring to the bigger one. That's annoying and kind of dangerous. You have installed an older ultegra crank...I'm thinking about a duraace9000 crankset, which is a little bit overkill for my caad8 xD

Fahr Rad Yeah, but will look sick! 👌🏻 I didn’t have problems with the FSA. As for your problems look if it has to do with front derailleur limit movement, just saying. Cheers!
