The Kangra Valley Railway is a 2'6" (762 mm) gauge railway that runs from Pathankot to Jogindernagar. It runs through the sub-Himalayan region of Kangra Valley and is 164 kms long. The railway is part of the Firozpur division of Northern Railway. It is the longest Narrow Gauge line in India and also the longest 2 ft 6 in Gauge Railway in the World. - Zábava
We used used to bunk school and roam in this train. Thanks team himbus for refreshing our memories. Back then minimum fare was Rs. 2 and maximum was Rs. 15.

This is lesser known narrow guage train in India. Everyone knows about Nilgiri, Darjeeling Himalayan rail, Kalka-Shimla rail and too some extent Matheran rail. I was quite unaware about this rail untill few months back. This is as beautiful as those trains.

I went to meclyod gunj and jwala devi mandir via jwalamukhi road from pathankot junct. In 2015 by passenger train i have got gr8 superrrb experience awesome ❤ journey and also get back to pathankot by this beautiful train journey
