I have handled the two, Redmi 12 has higher graphics than the Itel S23+, for gaming, Redmi 12 is 😘, good design and many more.

First I would advise you to not get the iPhone 7. It's outdated and you won't be getting any software support and major updates from apple. Sincerely, the iTel S23+ camera is not so nice for people that have a thing for great pictures.

The screen is well... "a screen". You need to take good care of it.
Itel is also offering six months screen replacement, so you really don't have much to worry about for the next six months.
there is no manufacturer protection if you don't take care of your phone...i'm sure if you give your baby the most expensive iPhone, the baby will still break the screen!!!!

Got my Itel S23 on the 10th of this month, the experience is absolutely awesome sincerely. Far better than Tecno spark 10 pro and Redmi note 12.

Itel is a very good phone, but some people are still comparing their old phones to the latest one.
Stop spoiling people mind you don't like it then keep it to yourself, do you think it easy to make a phone, just try any 2022 or 2023 itel phone and you will see that they have improved awesomely
I have used the both phone's and the feels and smoothness of the itel s23plus is far better than the redmi note 12, and again the unisuc t616 processor is far better than the hilio g88
