I learnt a lot in my 7 years ringing here too. I've always been rather lucky in terms of access to good ringing.

A lovely touch of simply the best method, STEDMAN CATERS. This is very well rung, a joy to listen to. I think the bells are the perfect weight not to heavy, not to light and another fine Taylor peal for sure. I think there is something really joyful about 10 bell ringing and I think Stedman is so lovely to listen to.

Like, like, like. I used to go to their practice nights when I was 15ish, and learned a lot, especially from the chap who's asleep at the table in your clip.

I have never been to England and actually see anything famous. But I will always remember England as the home to this style of bell ringing. I am proud to be English by blood.

I wouldn't say it's not particularly famous ! It's a wonderful small cathedral city know as the city of philosophy for most of the 18th 19th & early 20th cent . And as you rightly point out a great peal of bells :-) thanks for sharing

James you are correct..these are good. I have some unfinished business here. I rang the tenor to a lot of a peal and need to come back ho ho ho

Yes, that's Clive M Smith sitting on the right of the table. Not to be confused with Clive G Smith!
