    I was going to my speed shop when i saw a turtle heading towards a little pond but he was moving real slow across the road. I turned around to go and get him and some asshole in a f350 intentionally crossed solid yellow lines to crush him. Youve got a good heart brother.

It runs good for a big inch NA Pontiac but it ain’t even close to yours lol. My best is 13.2 @102 in the 1/4 . Your running 102 mph in the 1/8 lol. I am 81 mph in the 1/8. Lol

    Hey I’m really interested in building a car and ls swapping it. Can you give a ballpark on what it costs and what’s some good platform cars that are ideal for it?

    • @JohnnyAnderson1
      @JohnnyAnderson1  Před 2 lety +1

      Anything that came with a small block chevy would be the cheapest and esiest to swap.
      Cost varys so much its hard to give a estimate depending on your skill level and how much bargan shopping your willing to do.
      I did mine for around $3500, but that was before everything skyrocketed on prices. I would bet my original setup would not be over $5000 for the same stuff.
      But if you just want to do a stock 5.3, and you are highly skilled you could swap that in place of a SBC for under $2000 and upgrade it later.

      When on the street it will hit a max of 9psi in 3rd gear. I honestly have no idea about the transmission, it was a th350 that was rebuilt back in the 90's and came out of a mid 70's nova with a stock 350.

    Should i go turbo or carb nd nitrous

    • @JohnnyAnderson1
      @JohnnyAnderson1  Před 2 lety +1

      Carb and nitrous (with big cam and high stall) = SUPER easy setup with instant power
      Turbo = 10X more complicated and time consuming but no bottles to fill and can make insane power without touching the engine.
      That’s a tough question though, what do you plan to do with the car?
      There are many days I wish I would have just stuck a 200 plate under my carb and called it good. But for street driving the lower stall stock 5.3 + turbo is definitely better.

    • @Kayaan_thegreat
      @Kayaan_thegreat Před 2 lety

      Racing light to light not going to track just want it to have sum power and burn rubber

    • @JohnnyAnderson1
      @JohnnyAnderson1  Před 2 lety +4

      @@Kayaan_thegreat if you have the fabrication skills since it will mostly be a street car I would say go with the turbo and if you do I HIGHLY recommend getting the Holley terminator to make tuning easy.
      If you don’t wanna mess with fabbing stuff up and the headache of running piping and fuel lines then stick with a carb and a decent cam/stall.
      What size engine will you be using? If a 6.0 or 6.2 then you can make plenty of power with a carb. If using the nitrous a lot you will find yourself running out constantly.
