    Those brake pad retaining pins are a nightmare had one that was made of cheese and was over tight when I bought a new caliper had to drill it out lmao. Then couldn't justify the price triumph charged managed to figure out a Honda one fit it and found a cheap one on eBay lol

    W.E.Moto, eh? They sell a flasher relay for my bike and light bulbs too. They won't fit. LED lights and a module controls the flashing.

    Hi Spicey; a quick question the front stand is there a right and a wrong way to have the fork supports? I notice that the larger piece of plate is upper most. Thanks this is a great series for the 'new to bike maintenace' folks.

      Yeah they should be the other way around I think but it works with this bike

    Do you happen to know the length of the break lines? I want to replace mines with braided and want to order them from china, can't find the exact measurement and although I thought about using a piece of plastic and measure this I haven't got one! haha. I'll do it eventually but if you keep your info on a spreadsheet it would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

      @spicy110  Před 2 měsíci

      I do not know the length, but I have to say. If you are in the UK I would just buy HEL Performance lines. I would not risk getting brake lines custom made in China, it is the one area you WANT to spend money!

      We have different opinions, china has a big motorcycle park and I believe that any UK brand is just relabelling them, we are talking about 80-100£ of difference for a set of front brake lines. The only difference is that in the UK you can buy them by motorcycle so takes that work out of you… not worth it in my opinion. Bear in mind that the original ones are not-braided made in china, why would an upgrade be worst?

      @spicy110  Před 2 měsíci

      Note I said "I wouldn't" not "You shouldn't" I am not saying they can not make them well, it is just the consistency. You can do what you want, I just feel better saying something rather than not. Also no, "All HEL Performance brake line components are made in Britain, including all of our stainless steel braided brake hose and stainless steel brake line fittings. Also, we're the only company in the UK to manufacture all of our mainline fittings in-house, using our own Star Micronics CNC Machines"

    Any one had there break ever stick on ? Think my pistons sized in

    • @spicy110
      @spicy110  Před 3 lety

      Yes that can happen, of if it gets stuck after a while of riding this is due to the brakes binding, boiling the brake fluid and causing the pads to jam on.

    Dude why did you spray wd40 of the banjo bolt? If Wd40 could get into the threads do you not think the brake fluid thats under a few thousand psi would get out? 😆

    • @spicy110
      @spicy110  Před 3 lety

      Haha yer with a crush washer it's not such a issue but it is habit as I live on a small island and bolts often get quite a bit of salt sticking them in place.
