Years ago, this was the first Synthwave album I fell in love with. Thanks for getting me into a great genre of music, Night Runner!
Beyond fucking awesome.
What has been bumped cannot be unbumped.
Great Production, chill synth jams, A+
Thank you Dan Avidan for introducing us to this magnificent beauty
It amazing that Dan can skyrocket your popularity by just mentioning you.
The game grumps have blessed you night runner
+Benjamin Wetherbee what is a game grump?
+GhostDave A youtube channel able to send half a milion people anywhere they want.
A gaming channel that really likes good music and thought it was a shame that this sexy album didn't have the recognition it deserved and told hundreds of thousands of people to go check it out
The 80's are back!!!!
I love 80's style music. So happy Dan talked about Night Runner.
Night Runner... You just got Game Grump Bump'd!
Danny has extended my musical library tenfold since the Not So Grumpanning.

Damn you got me
Yup.
Driver, get me to the eighties please, one way.
..also a pair of British Knights, a Glow Worm, and Transformers lunch box please...
1980 or 2180?
When this baby hits '88, you're gonna hear some serious shit.
This will now be apart of my playlist. Thanks Grumps.
Danny was right, this shit really is awesome.
Alright Dan, you are correct. Thanks.
Thanks, Daniel
Youre welcome?
*I NEVER get tired of listening to this beauty again and again!!* 80's style is truly magnificent. Thanks for sharing! No more words needed.
#DannyisAcoolGuyForSendingMeHere
I couldnt find Danny dan and THE bunky frunch though
+alex sapp The hashest tag that ever tagged.
Dude. Danny wasn't kidding. This shiz is awesome.
Love it when Danny starts spitting out music like this, it's always good. And that's from a guy who loves death, black and thrash metal.
They should make this a thing, Dannys Weekly Music-listentothisordie.
@@oliakrist8648death metal.
Written to After Hours
Riding down this dark road with thunderlight
cracking down on the stone
the asphalt liquifies slides like a river going double time
mind all open like the 12 cylinders
engine roaring
perpetual motion
whoever said there isn't good modern music hasn't discovered synthwave artists
Thank you so much Danny.
Game Grumps should do music advertisements on the side because this is just golden. i love it.Thank you Danny.
it's fun to see so many grump fans agree on something
All of these comments are talking about how gamegrumps suggested this band and thank god Dan did because they are amazing
I'm so glad Dan pointed me in this direction. This album is awesome!
grump bump! ;)
Two minutes in and im already thanking Danny so much right now!
*raises hand* I'm here because of Danny Sexbang. This shit is dope.
I listened to this album in one sitting, and took a nap. Suddenly, I had a dream I was flying through space with a Jewish super hero, a killer ninja, and a guy known as "the video game boy," and he said he's the one who wins.
This. This right here. This is my new jam. Thank you, Dan.
I must have misclicked. I was looking for Danny Dan and the Bunky Frunch.
Same
ikr
+PullOutNoBabies That's funny I was looking for Danny and the Fresh.
Weren't we all
I was looking for a crab that told me to fuck my father.
If this doesn't explode I will be amazed. Everyone listens to Danny

Danny from Game Grumps mentions a band called Night Runner and their album Starfighter, I don't even wait for him to explain. Awesome name, awesome music.
My new gaming soundtrack
FROM IMGUR WITH LOVE
I too am listening to this whilst I work... because of Imgur!

Danny Sexbang sent me here. I was not disappointed. Keep up the great work Night Runner.
Thanks to All the Techies who made this Music Posting Possible. 😊😊😊 Incredible Synth Sounds!!
I'm here at the recommendation of Danny Avidan of the Game Grumps
Reminds me of 80s action movies. Thanks Danny Dan and the Bunky Frunch for the great suggestions in music.

I maybe a fullout Metalhead....but i l0ve this* sound....best time to listen to this,when your tired....your mind goes surfing....awesome🤘🤙
Seems like a lot of my fellow metalheads got bit by the synthwave bug.
I am the kind of person who usually needs to hear songs a few times before I start bopping and stuff to them because it needs to be familiar. I also tend to like songs more the more times I hear them. On my first listen through, I think every single song got me right away. That's not supposed to happen is it? Good stuff, fellas.
I've never bought an album so fast after listening to just part of a CZcams thing.
Lovelies, I have brought to your attention that this whole fucking album is amazing. This ENTIRE album! Night Runner, A++. Dan, thanks for the recomendation.
Came here from one of Asthenic's synthwave mixes, was not disappointed, thanks for getting me through my lab report 80's guy
Danny, you're so right. this album kicks ass. night runner, keep doing what you're doing.
Game Grumps brought me here
Not even a minute in and I know I'm gonna like it. I truly hope GG never stop recommending music.
honestly, this genre is awesome. if i had to recomment 3 artists though (its hard to choose just 3 tbh) id go with Scandroid, The Midnight (their album called nocturnal is awesome. The first song, Shadows, is my fave atm, topped streamline by pendulum which was my fave for like, 10 years or so) and finally but definitely not least is The Toxic Avenger (his older music is a little random but his latest stuff is awesome, particularly his songs made for the game Furi. his latest EP is rather gloomy though, but i love it)
Then you have the likes of GUNSHIP, Carpenter Brut, Kavinsky, Timecop83 and FM-84. tbh, theres so many great artists, takes too long to find them all tbh
@@XenonArcher The Midnight are cool I like their music too and can I also recommend you check out FM-84 and their album called Atlas. Also the artist 'Gunship' and their album Dark all day is my favourite by them. Last but not least is the artist 'Lazerhawk' and I like the album called 'Redline' but the other two are also good. Hope you enjoy!
@@Chaggy1978 ive known all of those for years. mainstream synthwave artists. go check out Kallax, Caspro, Tonebox and The toxic avenger. i also mentioned fm-84 and gunship in my comment :/
Agreed
@@XenonArcher Thanks for sharing. i imagine u've also discovered Carpenter Brut and Pertubator. They share a similar vibe, yet approach it differently, imo (I feel that is not exactly the same genre as this album, though. Those two seem havier and way more agressive). Also Trevor Something is worth mentioning. He is extraordinary good in composing his tracks. The level of detail is quite impressive and his vocal parts are not just catchy, but also sound almost spellbining.
My love of 80's music and electronic music brought me here. New retro wave music is amazing.
The album is pay-what-you-want. So everyone who loves this and is listening should go throw them a donation for the mp3s!
This music, specially _The Sentinels_ , it´s perfect for study or travel trough the night.
80's in 2016 ? Nice... There is hope for humanity after all.
+Milan Kolarski yep
2017!
If you like this, check out brand new synth wave artist 'METROPOLIS'
Find the video for the debut single 'Shoulder of Orion' Here: czcams.com/video/g-fSc094YKY/video.html
It should always be the 80's.
It's 2018, sick of the commercialization of 80's nostalgia yet? I know I am. And your statement is rather pathetic honestly.
Not that this album isn't dope as f*ck.
You gotta love it when a popular guy points out a less popular group and is like "check it out". Respect
Dan should keep recommending artists honestly
Thanks for the suggestion Game Grumps. This is now part of my study music list :)
+Veronica Coley Check all the music on the channel. There's a lot more to discover ;)
Thanks Danny!
+Veronica Coley another awesome band: Carpenter Brut. Check out: Turbo Killer, the music video. It is AWESOME!!!!
+Veronica Coley Hopefully it gets more popular
me too! also in my study playlist. studying to it right now :)
shoutouts if you actually found this because of your own tastes
I found this because of my own tastes because my own tastes led me to Dan who led to me to this so I can take credit for that
I don't actually know who this 'Dan' person is...
@@Validator56 A popular person who is public about his appreciation for this music.
Found it because I was looking for it, basically. Went down the rabbit hole starting with late 80s and early 90s electronic acts and ended up at synthwave. I also recommend checking out goth ethereal and dungeon synth, not as popular, very hit or miss, but the good stuff is really good.
@@frothfrenzy MGMT's Little Dark Age must have been heavily influenced by ethereal goth/darkwave. I didn't even know that was a genre until your post. Thanks man.
The thing I dislike most about 80's music is the singing. This is AMAZE-BALLS
Thanks Dan, For another great artist to listen too.
this is perfect gaming background music
Unless the game has music already and it overlays and sounds terrible
***** in most games you can turn the music down individually
BesonderBlume WHat games do you play this for?
***** Witcher 3, Overwatch and Zelda Twilight Princess right now

Greetings, Starfighter.
the grump bump in action, love this
Another video blessed by the Avidan
I don't ever comment but i will say this a masterpiece of the synthwave genre. Truly a fantastic album. In my opinion Night Runner, Wolf and Raven, Carpenter Brut and Perturbator are the epitome of the genre, each in their own individual, masterful ways
I have enjoyed this album. I decided to buy it so I can listen to it while on the move.
Take the car for a ride at midnight without reason, just ride away, listening to that music and dream
my new driving music for the rest of my life. Dan from game grumps is always good with recommending music.
Is it weird to be born in the late 90s and really like this type of 80s music?
Like people who were born in the early 80's & hated it.... tbh...it was shite..... (^_X)
Apart from the films... a golden era for that no doubt.
This part of the 80s culture has the retrospective kind of value. You should try heavy metal from the mid-80s though. Somehow it's similar to this.
Came here after Dan on Game Grumps mentioned this. very glad I did. This music's awesome.
HEY LISTEN!.....to these sweet beats, SON!
This album takes me back to everything great in the 80's...the magic times of my youth.
dan is like 40% responsible for the entire internet traffic circulation
+Lookingoodsosoz I'm part of the other 60%. Though I do like Mr. Sexbang a lot
whos dan
Dan is part of the popular Let's Play channel Game Grumps and on episode 32 of their The Legend of Zelda : Ocarina of Time play through, he expressed grief over seeing good music that didn't have the recognition he believed it deserved. He gave this album/musical group as an example and so the viewers swarmed to it. He has done this multiple other times with other songs, and so there are times when you will stumble upon a song and the comments will just be a flood of Game Grumps fans.
the other 60% belongs -deservedly so- to Maximilian Dood
Alright lovelies, let's watch the views go from 400k to 1 million!
This is the best synthwave album ever made
This popped up after the "Phantasm Soundtrack". I am not sure why, but I am also not disappointed.
Almost There
FTW!!
You know, it's cool and all when Danny sends people to music on youtube, but then it's kinda not cool because the comments just become a fucking shitshow of people exclaiming that they're from the grumps
+wickedraiden186 Like you for example
+Pyrhillius Skysaari oooooooh sick burn brah
if you check the views from the other videos on this channel this likely didnt have many comments to begin with. and they just got a huge bump in views. the guy even tweeted the artists that they got a grump bump. so all in all not much to complain about.
Invaders - Fantastic
I'm glad CZcams has made radio obsolete...great sounds on this album
grump bump
+Zakkary Baige grumpa dump
BUMPA GRUMP
hey I'm bump
+Andreas Nordvall I'm not so bump
And we`re the the music bumps
It's so obvious that a guy like Dan would be all about the synthwave
which episode do I need to watch to hear gamegrumps talk about synthwave?
GREAT SCOTT!!! I remember when this video barely had 50,000 views
This is like the soundtrack to every great 80's movie!
This is the second time in my life that I've legally purchased music instead of just using youtube downloader lmao (first time was an NSP album c: )
Woah, a Lackadaisy fan, nice^^
January3rd Congratulations on being the first person to know where my icon is from!
Thanks! Tracyjb is my all time favorite artist^^ No way i'm missing that!
Same! I love the story and art, I just wish the comic was updated more often
Can't blame her, it's extremely intricate and detailed. Taking her time on it helps the final product end up so wonderful^^
Thanks to the boost in popularity, Night Runner's music is now available on Spoofy. #grumppbump
Thank you Danny for telling about this band!! Love them
Thanks for recommending this Danny!
CZcams brought me here, and... Thanks so much for this CZcams, thanks so much.
Danny Avidan of Game Grumps recommended you guys and you did not disappoint. Amazing stuff.
Thanks music gods
Fucking Nuclear Countdown though. Jesus what a good track
Sounds like the soundtrack to a cool sci fi movie. Music seems to tell a story of some sort. Really enjoying iy
+Cameron Reyno I imagine Tron
I think the soundtrack of Blade Runner was really influential. That's probably the furthest that you can track it back, and where the cover art style comes from.
Game Grumps Bump. Time for this video to explode in views.
+TrulyEvilBob Grumpety Bump!
+Pyrhillius Skysaari Grumpy Grump and the Bunky Frunch?
+TrulyEvilBob i can guarantee that half of the views will be me
This is what the internet is for. Listening to people sit together and have fun making dick jokes and yelling, and every once in a while, saying the name of a small hard-working person or persons who doesn't get the support they deserve.
THIS SHIT IS THE FUCKING SHIT, MAN.
Danny thanks for the awesome suggestion. These guys rock. Game Grumps fan, now a Night Runner fan!
Dat soundscape...
It's After Hours... I witnessed The Invaders coming through Starlight, while I was about to Ride The Sky. They came bringing Roses & Blood, and as they were Almost There, I gazed upon the appearance of The Sentinels, who bore a device that had a Nuclear Countdown on it's main circuit. Then I contacted The Driver, informing him about the massacre and Murder In Miami that was about to go down... So, he called upon the might of Night Runner and gave an end to all, with the help of his trusty Starfighter...
+Spyros Kokkos This rocks !
The 80's Guy Thank you, I had a moment of inspiration there, while listening to The Invaders and I'm glad you liked it :)
+Spyros Kokkos Even Night Runner liked it ! Look :)

I saw it and I commented :D !!!!
+Spyros Kokkos Alrighty then; picture this if you will. 10 to 2 AM, X, Yogi DMT, and a box of Krispy Kremes, in my "need to know" pose, just outside of Area 51.Contemplating the whole "chosen people" thing with just a flaming stealth banana split the sky like one would hope but never really expect to see in a place like this. Cutting right angle donuts on a dime and stopping right at my Birkenstocks, and me yelping...
Holy fucking shit!
Then the X-Files being, looking like some kind of blue-green Jackie Chan with Isabella Rossellini lips and breath that reeked of vanilla Chig Champa,
Did a slow-mo Matrix descent out of the butt end of the banana vessel and hovered above my bug-eyes, my gaping jaw, and my sweaty L. Ron Hubbard upper lip and all I could think was: "I hope Uncle Martin here doesn't notice that I pissed my fuckin' pants."
And after calming me down with some orange slices and some fetal spooning, E.T. revealed to me his singular purpose.
He said, "You are the Chosen One, the One who will deliver the message. A message of hope for those who choose to hear it and a warning for those who do not."
Me. The Chosen One?
They chose me!!!
And I didn't even graduate from fuckin' high school.
Ma F'n Thankyou....the bees knees right here...you're the best
Bought their album on Bandcamp -- thanks to Danny for the heads up, and thank *you* 80s guy for hosting the album so I could dig it!
