Installing Marinaire marine air conditioning on a Malo 39 foot sailboat.

New marine ac installation of 16,000 BTU Marinaire marine heat pump ac unit on a beautiful Malo 39 foot sailboat. This was a brand new installation on a boat that didn’t have ac before. We installed the through hulls, strainer and pump in addition to the ductwork. In this case, the owner is having a marine electrician wire this system in as part of other electrical work being done.
The Marinaire 16,000 BTU unit uses a reverse cycle to provide both heat and air conditioning. It's probably the most popular unit we install. It comes in both 230v and 115v versions. It's quiet, powerful and relatively small for its power.
This unit is a great replacement for older Cruisair, Marine Air Systems and the common OEM Dometic Marine AC systems.
