thanks for a very useful video! may I ask the approximate cost of the parts used to build it? and maybe a list of tools/cost too? thanks in advance for any response! :)
Hey Niles! In my parts video, I dont go over the cost per-say but I do give a link to all the parts I used for this build. If I were to estimate, I would say around $600-700 or so if you were to buy the today (excluding the body and neck). Some of these parts I already had in my parts bin so that saved me some money. You can always buy used parts too (highly suggest doing this for the pickups, huge savings here)! As far as the tools, that's a bit tough to estimate lol! I've accumulated tools over the last 10 years or so and used quite a few of them all throughout this build. I would say you could find cheap version of everything I used and be under $500 or so. The big expense is fretwork tools. You can find used routers, sanders, and other power tools for cheap on the FB marketplace. Hopefully this helps!
