A friend of mine always said, the first country to say, “I have nukes!” has, by default, lost the fight!!
He is exactly right. Poot's knows his meager conventional forces can't win a war against a country like Poland let alone all of NATO so he uses his nuclear bluff card.
I was going to refute you with U.S. in 1945, but then I remembered they didn't "tell", they "showed".
Who was the first to use nukes??
Putin sparks atomic and admits he is weak and lost. So by screaming atomic he describes himself as the looser!
change putin to putler and we are golden ;)
Exactly The USA, France, Germany, and even China have never had to threateh to use their nukes. Only Russia is so weak they have to make threats for their own mutual destruction.
True
From what I've understood, this is just the usual tactical (NOT strategic) nuclear training excercise. Every nuke holding country holds them once or twice per year.
But this time it's different only because Putler can use it to rattle his rusty sabre. It's not meant as a threat to other governments, it's meant to threaten the citizens of those countries who haven't yet noticed that these are the same empty threats Russia has been spouting for 50 years, and who don't necessarily know the difference between strategic and tactical, or how common this is.
And it works. Some people are actually scared of ww3.

In June 2014 before the Invasion of Crimea the Russian Ruble was 33 Rubles to 1 US Dollar ... Today the Russian Ruble is 91 Rubles to 1 US Dollar Looks like Something Collapsed but it was Not the US Dollar 😀
Back in the 70's in the Soviet Union the "official" rate of exchange was 20 ruble to 1 US $, but on the black market there you could get 100 Rubles. It seems some things hardly ever change.
It's funny because you people think you're special but really it just means that the people there are living how we are here $100 is a lot when you leave the United States but when you're living in the United States $100 doesn't do s***you can have a better life in Russia than you can in the United States with the money you make here
@@steelcitytvIt is funny you think russian is living well in russia 😂😂😂😂 as long as we live better than the russian, i am happy 😂😂😂
@@steelcitytv theoretically you can take big American money and live better by being able to afford more than 99% of the russians, but in practice you get to live in a hostile, polluted, foreign culture that will always think everything is your fault. You can go live there with your Western sensibilities and become a target to everyone trying to survive there. You can sell out your homeland and try to fit in and it will NEVER be enough, infact they will find you a spineless worm for doing so.
@steelcitytv depends on what you consider "living well."
If it's how far a USD can take you into decadence, sure, Russia could be viewed as better.
If it's the freedom to choose the life you want and the freedom to be as you want, then USA is far better.
But even when considering PPP, most americans still have access to ownership of far more things then most russians. It's really only in Moscow and St Petersburg that there is any semblance of American wealth.
The average American is still in the top 10% of wealthiest people on the planet.
Why the profit only? They should give the $360 billion to Ukraine !
*For now they're just giving the Profits but in the future they will get the whole amount - 😊 - that way everything will be legit.*
Stepping stone. They could still use the 300bn as a bargaining chip with Russia.
Not so fast. Who will pay for the stolen aircrafts, McDonald's and other stuff? For all the military aid? There's no free lunch
Plus it's more useful generating revenue and to use the profit thab the stock it's self.
People love to be short sighted.
Simple, Because russia wont pay for reparations after the war. Once ukraine is fully liberated then eu will give them the money to rebuild ukraine. And its army. Why rebuild when war is still going on, plus ALL THE MINES THAT NEED TO BE LOCATED AND DECOMISIONED. Its going to cost hundreds of billions to fix

Since the Gas/Oil fields are in the Siberian Permafrost, stopping the flow results in the oil flow freezing up and dealing with that as when you 're-open the well' is the BIGGEST ISSUE.
+ most of their Oil 'Infrastructure' was built by the West, so Maintenance Personnel, spare parts are quite impossible with the Western sanctions on Russia still operating.
.
Not sure if that is true. Only 15% of russian oil comes from “Artic” or permafrost regions where 80% of gas is from the same region.
Unless it is a super heavy crude that needs steam to extract (think oil sands) then the oil won’t actually freeze at permafrost temps.
Not saying it isn’t a nice dream but we the West tend to portray russia in worse conditions than they are and then disappointed when their markets aren’t crashing as predicted.

Can anyone really win a nuclear war? Answer is no can. A psychopath narcissistic dictator launched a nuclear strike and not care about the results? Who knows?🤔
Well, it could be the classified material that was stolen from the White House SCIF, has compromised the locations of and means and capabilities of our military personnel and their equipment. There is no way to know how long 45 was squirreling away our most top secret information. He definitely compromised our intelligence assets and caused informants to be lost or eliminated by enemies of the USA. He actually shared information on our nuclear submarines (without clearance or permission) to foreigners WHILE OUR SUBS were deployed on long missions undersea.
Me too I can't understand this act of cowardice.
Yeah, pretty silly.
you don't fear russian nuke threats? you probably should...it is rather unsettling to have a crazy aging dictator in charge of an entire country's nukes (which just so happens to be the country with the most nuclear weapons in the world), is it not? a man that if he loses would absolutely do it as a desperate "if I can't have ukraine, nobody can" moment to screw the entire world over just because he couldn't have everything he wants...
I think the world should be ready but not blackmailed by nuclear threats. NOT blackmailed. NOT manipulated. But equipment and food and protections need to be ready.

One can't be the provocateur when defending against an aggressor...
Is that a question?
@@davidjones6389 sounds like a simple statement of fact.
@@VALUST17 China is acting aggressively to India currently, while India in not the aggressor. China is both Provocateur and aggressor while claiming defense.
Sometimes it can be very useful to provoke the aggressor. They are quite often driven by an obsession with the image of strength. That makes them somewhat controllable.
A good example of this is how Ukraine is using drones to plant Ukrainian flags on highly observable points across the river in the Kherson area. The Russian commanders promptly send some poor sod to remove it, who instantly gets shot by a sniper or grenaded by a drone. The commanders know they're in deep trouble if too many images of Ukrainian flags in Russian controlled areas reach the internet. And all that trouble comes from Putin's fragile little ego. The flags themselves have no practical implications. But Putin's ego has practical implications if provoked right.

Rehi, I just Love your Positivity in spite of the Updates both Good and Bad!!! SLAVA UKRAINE 🇺🇦🙏🇺🇲
Its worth saying thay nato 155 mm shells are not eqvivalent to russian shells.
Fistly most of the russian shells are 115mm. The 152mm is similar to nato 155mm but have shorter range. And then also have 203mm shells in small numbers.
So when they say that russia got 7 times more shells, most of them are 115mm. They are really more comparable to 120mm mortar
I would also argue that 152mm and 155mm shells are not equivalent. There is loads of differences like the 155mm shell have better seals and higher quality cordite. Aerodynamics is also generally better for the 155mm shell. This of cause make it more complicated and expensive to produce
The benefit of the 155mm is not only greater range, but also considerably higher accuracy,.
There is also other advantages. 155mm shells are almost totally inert before it have a fuse. So it can be handled on pallets that make the logistics very simple. 155 systems also tend to be propelled by bag propellant, and some (like Pzh2000 and Archer) use modular bag propellant. Allowing them not only to went of, but also decrease the propellant charge. Additionally lowing the logistic impact.
The 152mm shells on the other hand come packed one by one with propellant. This leave a huge pile of boxes after they fired as well as needing a considerable more amount of man power on the front line
The precision of something like a 155mm system, specially the modern one with radar calibration is just way higher. While it may not be first shell first kill every time. Second shell will pretty much always be on target. Allowing the enemy much less time to take shelter.
*Speculation* Something like archer could in theory fire a slow shell, re-calibrate the fire mission, the fire a fast shell, having the second shell effectively arrive before the first shell *Speculation*
While the Russian 152mm system probably would need to fire 5-10 shells to reliably hit a small target.
Of cause, in the cases of that just needing to saturate the battlefield, this make the benefit of the 155mm shell much smaller. Still a modern system as a archer could link up to have a large number of shells hit specific grids on the battle field next to each other simultaneous, still having a more efficient use of ammunition
So its not fair to say that Russia produce more shells and there for is in a better position. Ukraine probobly have 2 or even 3 times better payout for there shells if not even more.
Of cause, Ukraine is still using some dumb artillery systems. Giving them more smart systems could probobly increase there payout of the sells even more.
Of cause its not only Archer and pzh2000 that are smart system, but also later generation Cesar, Zuzna and M109.
Russia also have smart artillery, but they only have 12 units so far, and as far as i know, they have not been deployed in Ukraine.
Main takeaway from this is really that 1M 155mm shells is not the same as 1M 152mm shells.
1) We have not used cordite in shells for a loooong ass time.
2) Simultaneous impact is a feature of many modern 155mm howitzers, including Archer, PzH2000, Cesar, M109A7 Paladin (that I know of - there are probably others).
3) The main difference between 152mm and 155mm is manufacturing specification. 155mm has really tight tolerances compared to 152mm. If Russia produced better barrels and shells they should be able to push the 152mm to similar distances as the 155mm.

There is something, some people don't know: There is no big, red button. There are many people involved, it can't just happen.
There was an accident, where a russian satallite malfunctioned, and reported, something like a dozen ICBMs would start from the US to the USSR. He was in a submarine, and after this alarm, after the system was unlocked because it saw multiple ICBMs starting, there he had the choice to press a button and nuke the US with his submarine, as defensive measure.
He didn't do it, because he figuered, the US wouldn't attack the USSR with just 10 or 20 ICBMs, it would be everything. So he didn't attack, and it came out, the satellite malfunctioned, and some sparkling on the air, or water reflection triggered all of that.
USSR fired him for not following the doctrin, for not firing the nukes. No joke. That was maybe the closest earth was to a nuclear war. It was September 1983, if you want to look it up.
So something like that, something like a reactive "red button", that seems to be a thing, or, at least, it was. But there isn't an offensive red button. For something like that, you have multiple people involved, multiple people have to authorize it, like Putin, for sure an army commander, high ranking general, the minister of defense, the prime minister or the vice prime minister, maybe even the council for coordination, that exists since something like 2023. I don't know, who exactly has to make the decision, but it's multiple people, not Putin alone.
Also it's against the russian doctrin, so it's basically illegal, to just fire the nukes. The only country I know about, that has preventive nuclear strikes in its doctrin, is France. They can fire, if they think, they have to defend themselves. Russia can't.
Also maintaining nukes is expensive, modern nukes with Plutonium are pretty complex, so the explosives have to be in top condition, so a huge percentage of russian nukes most likely wouldn't even work. They don't have the money to replace the Plutonium and the explosives. 🤷♂
