Wow, this is so crazy. I was in Houston yesterday and flew out just as it started to drizzle. Made it to New Orleans in about a 45 minute flight. Then, drove home from New Orleans airport to Baton Rouge and I kid you not, when I pulled into the back yard and parked, it started pouring down raining just as I was getting out of the car. So, I made it home just as the storm moved into our area.

Thanks Mrs. Sheri. The worst was over and I made sure I wasn’t under the tree limbs that were cracked. We are still without electricity but we are safe and good. Hot showers and can cook because we have a gas stove.

Glad your ok and wasn't too much damage. After Katrina I keep emergency food and water always.
We’ve been lucky as we have a gas stove. So we’ve been able to eat and take hot showers. We are going on the 4th day without electricity. Sucks.
