3 years late, but I was on the edge of my seat watching the score go up because I thought you were joking. Why the hell did they display a 7 digit number in scientific notation
I love how at this point they just stop questioning, like imagine report being like: "We got to the place two minutes late, but at this point Pardo already wiped all Colombians out, bodycount was few short of a hundred. He does that sometimes."
I initially thought you meant he just let it sit at the score screen to show off, 2 minutes of gameplay, cutscene, then literally 3 and a half minutes of "Lets Learn how to Count to 2 Million with Hotline Miami 2!"
Being able to learn the level perfectly and become very good at it, doesn't change that fact that the game is a stealth game. In Thief if you are good enough you can fightt all enemies on the level at once and win, but it doesn't change the fact that this game is a sthealth action and if you are not so expirienced at it, you will have to hide to survive. I don't say that HM is a steahl game, ofc.

BasilHorizon you actually need to intentionally program it to stop it at 9999. Actual maximum value posssible in programming language is never that low.

I found it so funny how Pardo defends his reckless actions by saying that he "got here first", like the whole crime-fighting aspect of working with the police force is just a race to see who can kill every single criminal at a particular location the fastest
After 1.5 hour I managed to do it. The game wasn't so generous to me when it came to proper weapons for the situation. Even got better result for mobility, flexibility and time, lol.
I've been wondering why everyone I watch in this game uses a controller and the game looks super fuckin easy, meanwhile I play and get my ass kicked by virtually everyone

The only way to get f if you skip a level, the only way to skip levels is in hm1, you have to lure a guy out in decendence then knock him over to the van with a punch, once he is on the van you need to press space then BOOM! you get out of the chapter and get an f or an f-
If you carry a combo on to the next floor it will maintain even if you die so you can actually continue it regardless of whether or not you get killed. I died quite a few times trying to do this but as long as you carry the combo onto the next floor dying won't cause it to drop. I edited out my numerous deaths. This was also possible in Hotline Miami 1, you can combo entire levels in the same way but there were never enough enemies to get a 90X combo.
That was awesome man. I didn't know the combo carried over to each level. I'm going to have to try for some higher combos now. Also going to try using a controller again. I find myself losing track of my cursor every so often using a keyboard and mouse. Looks like you have more control using the controller. Beat the first one a couple of times using both a controller and K+M, enjoyed the controller more.

Chuck Norris must have roundhouse kicked the player who died on the first enemy and took over the controls, or somehow infused himself into the character of the game and the game was playing itself. That was a fucking masterpiece nonetheless! But WTF on that Flexibility score? 2000! That damn thing always screws you over LOL.

The devs even said that he game shouldn't be played stealthy.
I actually liked the stealth aspect. Which is why I prefer the 1st game. But the editor is still cool.
