@@tradehut2782 hell yeah it is, in a planar iem, the bass is more technically correct but it sounds cold. With the simgot ea1000, you can actually feel the texture of the bass. You really have to hear them both to feel the difference
For me it’s the gold nozzle with the foam inside . It’s more fuller sounding in the mids. I would also recommend checking out the Oriveti OD200 iem as it’s another winner in the $200 range. Very immersive and musical with impressive soundstage !
Just like me the 7hz timeless remains my favourite - not that I can afford much more expensive sets lol. Ive seen a lot of good reviews on the much cheaper ew200 from simgot. At 40 usd it looks like a steal

@@PassionforSound decided to hold fire for now on IEMs. I plugged an inline portable dac into an iPhone and used my 7hz timeless and was amazed at how good that sounds. The 7hz is fun, energetic. I've got a senneheiser ie600 which is brilliant for complex audio like classical. I did splash out for a senneheiser hd560s for £140. It's great, especially using a balanced 4.4mm cable, spacious and comfortable, and quite different to my IEMs. I also got a set of Air pods pro 2 which are brilliant as all rounders wireless earbuds, using with android and iOS. And i got a discounted set of Status Between ANC wireless triple drivers. They sound great. Have long battery life, ipx5 and have a great design that don't look like the majority of wireless earbuds.
I was wondering your thoughts about the Simgot EN700 Pro vs the EA1000 and the rest of the newer Simgot lineup. I enjoyed your review of the EN700 and I bought them soon after and have loved them. Was considering an upgrade to EA1000 but it seems like Simgot has changed their sound signature.
I haven't heard all of their range and also haven't compared the EN700 Pro to the newer models. That said, I do think they're working with a different tuning approach now, but the results are still excellent (in the EA1000), just different. My EN700s are currently on tour for an upcoming video that I can't say too much about yet so I can't do a direct comparison right now, I'm afraid.
ea1000 are probably one of the best iems I have ever tried, the bass quality is just sublime

The EA1000s are great! There's some very tough competition in this series (as you'll see)
