Cheap Afghan immigrant construction workers (over 5 million of them now), make all these otherwise expensive construction projects financially possible. It is like cheap Latin immigrant labor in the US, making a lot of projects financially possible. So, instead of beating them down and giving them a hard time, the Iranians should be welcoming to Afghan immigrants and in fact, encourage it.

@@vladtheimpalerofd1rtypajee316 Workers go where jobs are. They need no encouragements or invitation. And the project owners--construction, farm or manufacturing, want them whole-heatedly. It is the governments that don't know how to adjust to these new realities. Instead, they torment the immigrant workers, deport them and so on, while fining and imprisoning the local employers for that!!!

And Pakistan itself destroyed it's infrastructure because of excessive amount of Afghan refugees coming here and not going back. There should've been a proper institution for handling the refugees, our main city Karachi is suffering a lot from high crime rates and destroyed infrastructure. I don't want this to happen with Iran too.
