nine times out of ten I can guess a plot twist correctly, even when I shouldn’t be able to, like a mini hidden talent…no ending to a tv show or movie has EVER had me floored the way this one did. right when I thought I’d figured it out, boom- the last 8 minutes of the finale, my jaw was on the floor. probably the most creatively written show I’ve ever seen.

That honestly made me cry. Adele in reality was the good person and Rob was the evil. That's why his body didn't feel right to her. She could feel his jealousy and envy but she knew it was too late.

i knew the moment the first time Rob and David met. Something about Rob's body language that gave me a clue that he likes him. also that awkward stare when Adele left the two of them in the kitchen. the directors really did a great job it's insane
Yes, even in the first episode he implied indirectly that he was gay, when he sees David you can see the shots, slow-motion scenes and stares clearly hinting that rob has fallen for David,

Saddest part for me is the moment when Louise is about to die and she says “Adam.” Imagine being a mother and knowing you’re going to die, the only thing you think about is your children. I really hope that Adam’s dad gets custody.

Completely agree. Everyone lost. Rob was the only one who managed to keep what he wanted.
Ignored this at first and thought it would be some boring series. But when I finished it, I was blown away. This is the kind of series that after finishing it, because of the plot twist, you would rewatch it with a different perspective on each of the scenes. Highly recommended.

Just finished the last episode. Kept thinking, doesn't your souls leave your body once you die? I was waiting on Louise's soul to get out of Adele's body and back into hers at the end.

Absolutely blown away. Coming from someone who has never even heard of the book, and saw this pop up on my Netflix feed, I came in with a complete open mind. It starts off quite slow, but has a consistent dark tone throughout. After each episode, you start asking more questions, and making more and more guesses, and then just when you think you've figured it out... I literally turned off my TV and just stared into oblivion for an hour after watching this show. 10/10 for wow factor for sure.

Oh man! I wasn’t ready for that ending. This has been one hell of a roller coaster ride. The best plot twist I have seen in years. If you’re a shutter island fan you’re definitely gonna love this one. It leaves you feeling in a similar way to that. The ending was an eyeopener and makes you have an immediate flash back of all the past events in the series. Amazing! 💯🙏🏼❤️
I watched Shutter Island yesterday. I liked the movie very much, and I started looking for a movie similar to it. I saw this movie and watched it till the end. In a word, it was magnificent. The end was very unexpected.

also, it's great to see a series starring a black lead that isn't only focused on overcoming racism.
Not only that but her skin color served the character well too. I like it when they implement how a persons color or sexual orientation affects the way they act or make decisions in life. Like if u make a person gay for example dont just do it to cover the gay card. but do it if the character being gay makes their decisions in the story make sense. u know?
Say like if i want to do a character that is cautious and doesnt trust people easily. Maybe if i made him a gay person from a country that isnt accepting of gays, it would be an explanation as to why they dont trust people and a believable one at that.
You dont even have to show the back story. Just show that they are gay and from a religious country and people can connect the dots.
That way it doesnt feel like its just checking the gay box.
The girl in the show has a lot of heart. She doesnt conform to white beauty standards. Has a loving fun relationship with her kid. U can easily imagine her backstory and how that made her the person that she is now. And it matches the decisions she makes on the show.

It really makes me sad cause, first, we never actually got to see the actual Adele, since 70% of it was Rob, and Adele seemed like a genuine character. Second, omgg David, I was shitting on him the entire season thinking he was the villain but he is the actual victim here. Oh and Louise well, it’s sad for her son but omg she made all the bad decisions in the final episode, especially when David clearly told her to stay away from Adele
She should have kept her mouth shut. and not tell adele (Rob) tht david was gonna talk to the police. and minded her business when she saw adele tried to suicide and put the fire in the house. i would have gone righ back home and his little aura who was actually waiting on side of the corner would have gone back to his body ...ROB IS SICK

Wow, what an ending. I felt really bad for Louise, she was just trying to do the right thing in the end, and then Adam, who just lost his mother. I mean the last scene focused on her eyes was really disturbing and heartbreaking at the same time. But most of all, David, is the one feel most sorry for, no matter how hard he tries he will never get rid of Rob.

Damn, if only I have great attention to detail. I should have known the first time they showed the clear color of the astral projection of Adele in the room. I should have instantly known it wasn't Adele anymore, it was Rob all along. Adele's astral is purple and Rob is blue. When the realization hits you and it all comes to one piece. Shit, the mind fvck! Also, in the end when they focused on Louise's (Rob) sinister smile and then eyes before the ending credits and played the song with the lyrics "I'm gonna do bad things. Do it like it was nothing" it foreshadows years of suffering again for David, and now with Adam too. Brilliant and sad at the same time.
This show was so good but I swear Louise was pissing me off the whole time with her decisions. Her real friend tried to warn her, not once but twice to leave these people alone, then even David told her multiple times to leave them alone. It's almost like she forgot all about her son until Rob was about to snatch her freaking soul and THEN you want to remember him and call his name. Poor Adam because he doesn't even know David his new "StepDad" and he lost his real mother cause he knows she is not the same and now Adam is the new David...miserable as hell all because Louise couldn't leave well enough alone.
Really a mind blowing twist. I felt sad on the scene where Adele said "I don't like this Rob" she deserves more. She deserves better but then it all happened :(((
DID NOT SEE IT COMING! It’s a masterpiece the ending had soooo many twists no way any one could have predicted it. Shocked beyond words. You must watch it!! Brilliant acting by the girl who plays Louise! Seemed like a total different person at the end....

That's why adele /rob showed her how to astral travel.that was part of the plan to take louise body till the beginning.
The fake adele(rob) even gave his book to louise to teach her astral travel. Because he knew she will do it
The author did a really good job creating this story but I'd be willing to bet money she got her inspiration from skeleton key. The main plots have very similar identity.

I knew something was off about this guy, the way he looked at David and envied Adele, and the similarities between both characters counting fingers and all, but I have to say I’m shocked! I never expected the ending would go this far🤯
Remember that Rob taught Adele about counting fingers. He also said he was gay and told her how much he envied her happiness, being rich and lastly, think of his background. I don’t want to give more away...

BTW, I was wrong re Rob teaching Adele re counting fingers, etc, it was the other way around, sorry 😊 I watched 2 BHE Explained/Ending Explained videos & learned how my detective skills failed me Lol. We’ve always been conditioned to expect a happy ending, I did, but bc all 4 characters were so flawed, I accepted the “villain winning.” Very sad for Adam.

Wow. What a good series. I have never watched a series that has left me with a lot of emotions at once. 100/10 recommend. I'm watching this again.

Louise was extremely naive and annoying. In the last episode, I thought if she dies she brought it on herself; however, the twist was super redeeming. I then felt bad for Louise.

Saw it yesterday this is one of the best series on Netflix. Phenominal actors!
If you pay attention on the details of the film you will understand all... before the scene was revealed when Rob switched bodies with Adele. The aura of Rob was blue and Adeles was purple... When Louise Astral projected herself.. her aura was green and the aura of Adele in the bedroom was blue... Soo it was Rob all the time not Adele. There were clues all over the movie...Adele did not have an addiction.. Rob did... Adele Astral projected her self easy.. Rob always did that thing with his fingers... counting his fingers... And much more clues.
Adele did have an addiction that was the reason she was in rehabilitation i think. I don’t remember if they revealed what she was addicted too though.
@@thames1978 Adele was in that psychiatric facility because of her parents death... She had mental health problems after the fire and the death of her parents not because of addiction. Because at first when you watch the movie don't know what to look for....you might not see the clues all over the place... But after the entire series is finished all the clues just come together and you realize that the truth was in front of you all the time.

This show just blew my mind, it's truly a masterpiece. Every episode was so intense and unpredictable. The fact that I was expecting a twist at the end, yet I got two twists is just mind-blowing. I'm not gonna spoiler anything especially the end, cuz it's the most shocking, messed up and unpredictable ending you could ever see, but all I'm gonna say IT'S WORTH EVERY SECOND! I finished in one night.

The way Rob behaved in the kitchen and the dining hall hinted me that he is into David n maybe Adele killed him for this, but later when I got to know about the body swap thing in the fire scene, I was sure that Rob changed his body before too with Adele, so the ending scene was not a shock for me

Loved this story by Sarah Pinborough! Thought the show was really good too. They did so well to match it to the book!
Louise's actress is so cute and pretty. And this series was mind-blowing. I loved the supernatural elements of it and the foreshadowing.

That's not fair - at all. Stop hating on Louise. She made human mistakes just like everyone else. Rob took advantage of her disposition and completely manipulated her. David manipulated her too - then used his position to threaten her when he had no authority to fire her. Better judgement aside, I don't think anyone would've been prepared for how complicated that situation was.
