All I can say is wow! That was great! I was smoking some Rouxgaroux in a Mark Twain cob while watching. In my mind I kept thinking Pipeweed=Capstan Blue Flake. Excellent video fellas.

Been a long time fan of LOTR universe from childhood and absolutely love how well you have incorporated pipe smoking and Tolkien in your videos. We must also consider what the Hobbits pared with pipeweed. We know they were avid ale consumers, and many other farm products, as well as wine. I find it safe to assume their pipeweed/blends would not interfere with all that made them what they were or fabricated. Rather, pipeweed would compliment what they essentially were. Loved this video.

I absolutely love The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings books. Everything from Tolkien is fantastic. They are also the reason that I got into pipe smoking and have a collection of Churchwardens.
On a side note. Peter Jackson's films are an atrocity to mankind.

I love my pipe and all, but I've always had a bit more Dwarf in me. Lopping heads off of orcs and goblins, mining for gold and jewels or forging masterworks of weapons, armor, and jewelry, then home for roaring fires, malt beer, red meat from the bone, and of course, a nice pipe. Safe under the unyielding stone of the eternal mountains. The Hobbits are, of course, close cousins and all, and their lifestyle is idyllic. But it's a Dwarven life for me.
