    When I watched Polk in college, the one guy he reminded me of was Keenan Allen. Not a speed demon, but gets open easily. Great hands too. And not for nothing, he ran a 4.52, the guy everyone was clamoring for in a trade before the draft, Brandon Aiyuk, ran a 4.50, so similar speed, Polk is not slow.
    If he can wind up being Jakobi Meyers, I’d be thrilled too.

    So excited about the future for my team but yes, it is very weird not seeing Bill out there spinning that whistle around his finger

    • @AJ........
      @AJ........ Před 10 dny +1

      Ya I would've liked to see Bill get a chance with Maye and how he could help develop him the way he helped with Brady by teaching him what it takes to be great; how much work it takes, how to study film and tendencies, teach him about defenses and why they defend they way they do etc. Sad Bill got Mac who was the polar opposite of a great qb and great leader. I'll always believe Mac got Bill fired. Mac was a cancer and tore the team apart and so glad he's gone and happy to have Maye though

    • @youtubeconnollyfamily
      @youtubeconnollyfamily Před 10 dny

      @@AJ........ same here. I’m very happy we have Drake. Mac is OK but that’s it. Nothing better than OK. I was never excited about him. I was excited to begin last season just because I’m a fan but then things fell apart and I was just excited about the draft and started studying Drake and Jaden big time. Very happy we got Drake.

      If you're exhausted by Maye talk, you may want to tune out of pats stuff for a while because it's literally just starting. They got to see Maye live for the first time just now and of course they're gonna talk about it, and they should be talking about it. This is literally the time for them TO talk about him. Patriots have adequate pass catchers and QBs who can drive the football (not Zappe). The Patriot's degree of success offensively is highly contingent on their offensive line play. Can Wallace and/or Okorafor succeed on the left side? Can Robinson improve a Guard group that finished dead last in pass protection in '23? Can 360lb Onwenu find enough speed to handle outside zone? Can Cole Strange get healthy and finally play like a high draft pick? At least we have competent OL coaches for the first time in a few years.
