Been waiting for the next episode of Next Pats and Phil. The best Pats pod for sure
I like Phil cause it looks like he actually cares about the team
Agreed
Appreciate that, DF!
I do not understand why certain media members expected Maye, a 21 year old to set the world on fire when its rookie mini camp and hes learning multiple new stances and revamping his footwork completely
I’m also excited for brissett like what an opportunity for him back with his old coach was with Howell in Washington who went to unc with maye and to have a chance to start for the team that drafted him late in his career when he started under Tom Brady I bet he never thought one day he’d be the starting qb in New England
I already love both of them, especially the meme going around
Drake and bake! You’re going to hear that a lot when they score a TD. The future is so bright for this team.
At least Drake Maye knows how to do the baseball slide. Thats a big plus.
As someone trying to teach baseball slides to 7 year olds, I appreciate that
It’s wild to think we got an entire new offense in the draft and one defensive player who has boom potential. Imagine in 2 years and every single pick was a slam dunk… that would be the best draft maybe in nfl history and for the guys who did it be replacing bill and doing it for first time would be insane
Polk and baker have a great future and it’s awesome we got those two. That’s why I’m so happy we did not trade down because we literally got everything we needed and if we traded down we would have no QB right now.
@@youtubeconnollyfamily dude completely agree like I feel like the style of players we got and attitudes changed our team I think Wolfe killed the draft
@@ALLpurpose85nice little fantasy " best draft in history"... Wow
@@Bone_youtube_soft if everyone turn into superstars duh I won’t be the only one talking bout it at that point. I’m saying if not that it’s likely
This is one of not the most exciting offseason in recent memory it’s totally unknown and new era got young faces that could be the face of this team for years and not to mention I really do love the picks gonzo back and Marcus jones. Drake maye was my favorite qb I loved Polk and baker and j bell was on every single mock draft I did I was stoked he reminds me of njoku even with the height difference
Phil you crushed it and always great having Connor on your show
He’s a beast!
Great takes Phil!
Thanks, G!
That “skeels “ cracked me up 🤣
Skeelz
Because him & Drake are going to light it up 🔥
Phill is the best ❤️. He’s the Philip rivers of podcasts
Good observations Phil.
Thanks Jack!
I know its shorts and helmets, but this kid looks strong and explosive. I love our qb room and I think our wr room has some potential! Our ol room?
I am much higher on Polk than Baker I think Polk could have like a 900 yard or more rookie campaign I believe he's going to be that good and be that much of a contributer week 1
I'm not. 😒
@nocturnalrecluse1216 not my problem
Happy we did not trade down before the draft. We got everything we needed in this draft. Trading gown would have been so dumb. I’m not expecting to have a great season this year so we will still have good pics next draft too with our young QB getting better every year.
Sure would be nice to have a great WR
Baker will improve he’s a good receiver just has a couple things to work on but if he gets them fixed him and Polk, Douglas, Bourne could have a good season.
Let this kid learn and grow Don't throw him into the fire right away and i think everything will pan out
Our Defense did double duty last year, a little help from this year's Offense, Patriots are gonna surprise some people!.
I believe Wallace will be a future swing tackle for New England for now I think they're going to try to push him that left but he's going to be their future swing tackle
Polk will be the Pats’ CeeDee Lamb or maybe a Dez Bryant (same hometown)
One of the things that make Drizzy special is his off-platform cannon. Hopefully they are just teaching him to pick his spots with the extra ish instead of eliminate it from his game.
That’s always going to be a part of everyone’s game in today’s game. Like it or not!
I really really hope I’m wrong about Polk but man he just felt like such a reach!
Anyways I don’t know shit so I’ll just hope for the best.
Been listening to Curran for your takes, eh? Tell Tommy to get over it, they didn't trade back.
Cole Strange may be a worse pick than N’Keal Harry! Especially when you look at the next 2-3 players drafted at the same positions! Thanks for the final memories Bill, sucks that this is what lots of Pats fans will remember him for vs the 6 Super Bowl titles. The game just finally caught up to and passed him.
I can’t believe ppl expect players to be perfect even in practice lol. Like I’m finding myself even defending JJ McCarthy on social media because i don’t get the point of clowning rookies in freaking mini camp. Kids are probably a lil nervous at first and really tryna do things right to where they might be over overcompensating. lol plus they’re kids bruh not all rookies hit the ground blazing. They need to find a routine and rhythm of their new life. I wish ppl would wait more for training camp to make all these crazy assumptions im seeing all over twitter, IG and CZcams comments
I do not like Bryce Young as a QB but I also defend him cuz its too early to call him a bust
@@user-uz2rx6dc7l literally same with him. I’m 100% with you. I’m not a fan him either but i think Collin cowherd has a good saying. By the second yr around thanksgiving that’s more then enough games to know what you have. I didn’t that with Mac and that’s how i honestly knew he wasn’t the guy and i was off him. Bryce showed some flashes last yr and they got him a better WR group. We will know by thanksgiving what we have
Well put...these kids need time to grow....I'm cautiously optomistic...1 step at a time....let things playout accordingly...
Greetings from Northern New England.🤟😎🤙.
🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
I think javon baker may need a little bit more work
Picking that kid Milton
In the 6th round who is a man child who looks like a prime cam Newton with a cannon arm. Smart to have a back up plan but it may screw with the kids head.
great point. Maye needs time to develop. A perfect scenario is Maye becomes a franchise QB and Milton develops into a starting caliber QB and we trade him for a #2-3 draft pick. Another scenario is that Maye struggles and fans are calling for Milton who has a cannon arm and moves well.
@@stephenmartin6430 I like the way you think.
Damn near every qb in the league is inconsistent when it comes to throwing accurate passes name one qb that has been accurate throwing the ball all the time nit picking is irritating asf 😒
Phil’s podcast is positive and Tom’s is negative…
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Ya'll clowns said that about Nkeal Harry and Thornton. Where are they now? 🙄
Drafted a bunch of smurfs
Not gonna lie, he looks a little slow.
Because he is.
Polk looks very small and very slow don’t know what he’s looking at
I love a winner .We've had one for the better part of 24 years . Will they make us a winner? I'll reserve my excitement on them till then.
