    I live in the East Bay, and we love visiting this iconic California location as much as possible. Monterey is a must visit destination along the Northern California coast. It is famously known for its picturesque coastline, world-renowned aquarium, premier whale-watching destination, and so much more! I am so excited to share all of the tips & tricks we have learned from our many visits over the years.

    I was born in Monterey. When I was a kid 17 mile drive wasn't a toll road. But that was a very long time ago!😔

    What area in Monterey would you recommend to stay?

      If it’s your first time, I recommend Downtown Monterey. There's lots to do there. It’s within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, cafes, and the historic Fisherman’s Wharf. Pacific Grove is also a really nice area and is less touristy.
