Amazing. In Africa this is a divinition practice and catalogue of yoruba culture. In europe they called it boolean algebra and used it to derive modern day programming languages to get you psychologically hooked on software like social media.
    What a world.

@@lanryweezy9396 very true, I got to find out that what our ignorant generation of today refer to as ofo (won pofo) is actually recalling the divination algorithm in a form of a poem, as opposed to the europeans who have theirs in written form, and later on in coded format

This is completely amazing. Astonishing indeed. I am from Brazil and I've been having some difficulty to find concrete things about Ifá tradition. In Brazil we've got Candomblé (which is the few, albeit hefty) spiritual knowledge brought to this country with our ancestors (and kept under extreme secrecy) during the diaspora.
I am not and Initiated, but I've been studying African Spirituality for quite a while and seldom I find anything really concrete about the Philosophy (which is the aspect that fascinates me the most).
I hope I can keep on tracking these types of videos. It is SO hard to find anything about my ancestry philosofically saying... I wish it were easier...
I long to travel to Africa one day and finally meet and feel that energy which I know exists on the ancestor's grounds...
    Ase!

If we should properly study IFA, the YORUBA BODY of KNOWLEDGE or BOOK OF ENLIGHTENMENT, we should realize that it is both humanistic and scientific . The cultivator of IFA, divinity-philosopher Orunmila, who did contribute to the essence and meaning of Yorubaland, must have been inspired during his lifetime by Creator-Philosopher Olodumare. Divinity-philosopher Orunmila is one of the eminent ancestors/pedigrees (divinity-philosophers) during our oral culture. (Other eminent divinity philosophers are Oduduwa, Sango, Ogun, Obatala, Oshun, Olokun, Yemoja, Esu, Sango, Oya, Sopona, Oshosi and a few to mention.) They had all contributed to the good of Yorubaland of old.

A very incisive dive into the essence and mechanics of Ifa divination. Efforts like this will help to address the gap of poor documentation and presentation of Ifa, the fulcrum of the knowledge base and timeless wisdom of the Yorubas. This video beyond offering excellent education ultimately delivers on premium and contemporary positioning of Ifa, which many in my generation dismiss ignorantly as ancient and fetish. Time dedicated to watching this video is the best investment of my time today.

Kako, how can our heroes past in Yoruba culture be likened to demons? Are you insane or ignorant ni? Orisha simply means, "he who destiny picks."
Our Orishas are not gods or God, but mere mortals like you and myself, who God almighty, allowed to impact our societies.
The heroes or legends of the west are fake, non existent entities, like Superman, Spiderman and Hulk etc, who history and reality do not recognize.
If Awolowo was alive during the period of Orunmila and Shango etc, and he did what he did in his generation back then, he too would have been an Orisha and he still might be, 1000years from now.
Personally, in Yoruba culture, your parents are your Orisha and must be revered and you are here, spewing your stupid ignorance about demons in relations with your great ancestors. I feel like slapping sense into your empty ignorant head.
