Love when Cameron visits with his family’s collection. Watching him become more knowledgeable and comfortable on camera with Jay over the years has been a blast. Him and David Lee are always excellent guests.
Agree. But I would love to see Alan Travis come back and show more of his cars. He's the "Bugatti guy" with a collection of old cars. A real car entusiast like Jay. I know he has an old Renault race car that Jay would really like.
Yeh, these are some of my favourite Jay Leno episodes. Such beautiful cars, and deep knowledge. A joy to watch.
Another beautiful classic automobile, I didn't remember that car... thanks Jay and Cameron
So You like filthy rich people eh
Couldn't agree more! I will always watch videos with Cameron and David Lee.
100 years old and still purring like a kitten. The engineering on this car is stellar, Jay is right, the Hispano Suiza was ahead of Rolls Royce at this time, and the fact that it is still on the road is a testament to the quality of the build, and the restoration. Thank You Nethercutt, you guys are great.
The Museum Guy, says. “I don’t know.”
@@craigdixon4113 WAAT?
It wasn’t ahead. The silver ghost handled better, more reliable, higher top speed vs the h6b. Rolls Royce won numerous endurance races due to its unmatched reliability.
I'm impressed with how far Cameron has come in his knowledge of the cars. I give him credit for coming back after some of the commenters busted his chops the first few times he was on.
He genuinely cares about the cars that’s what matters
Jay makes everyone comfortable. I expect hanging out with Jay outweighs any internet slams.
Takes a while to become properly wise on cars. i have always had interest in cars and its only from 25-32 of age that i have built a major understanding of car history. And he has also been abit forced into it possibly considering he is an heir to the Nethercutt collection.
It is always a pleasure to see one of the Nethercutt's gorgeous cars. Thanks for sharing.
"He steals parts."
" ... I do steal parts"
🤣😂🤣
Strategically Transfer Equipment to Alternate Location
That Jay is all too happy to go driving in cars like this never ceases to elicit amazement and smiles from me.
As I watched this I had the thought that the time is coming when Jay might stop driving cars that aren’t his.
Jay Leno’s Garage is one of my favorite channels.
I love how Jay isn’t afraid to touch everything and see how it all works. Anybody else would be afraid to touch it (let alone drive it), but Jay is the one guy that has the resources to make it right if he were to damage a car like that. It always saddens me to see cars in museums that never move and just collect dust. They need to be driven a little bit to circulate the fluids and keep things properly lubricated.
I made much the same point about Jay in my separate comment. The guy who's family owns the car doesn't flinch at all when Jay is fiddleling with stuff. Just smiles wider!
That engine bay!😍 It's always a treat when Cameron comes to visit Jay. Thanks!
Cars from the 1920's and 30's are the pinnacle of technology and beauty.
60s for me😊
Beauty maybe but not technology. I do wish we still had the straight 8, just imagine how good it would be with modern tech.
The beautiful design work of this era is stunning. I think I understand where you’re coming from about the technology. The technology in these vehicles is certainly impressive but, to me, it’s a different technology than what we see in today’s vehicles
Subjective for every1
Here we go with another GORGEOUS rarity.
No more blue Mondays ,when Jay and Cameron is on. Thanks Jay for your dedication to your viewers.
The Hispano-Suiza stork mascot was in honor of Guynemer's squadron who were nicknamed Les Cigognes ('The Storks'). They flew Spads powered by Hispano-Suiza motors.
i live a few miles away from the place were he went down with his plane in the first world war.
That color is gorgeous
The car has it all - Hispano-Suiza design, Saoutchik coachwork, great color combination. One of the most desirable cars of the 20s / 30s.
Every Nethercutt car is an inmaculous gem
"Immaculous"...I like it.
Huge smile for me when the old girl cranked up. Absolutely beautiful car, incredible that she has survived 100 years.
It's not an overstatement to say this care is mechanical art.
Some spaniards we miss badly the original Hispano-Suiza although having seen only trucks from their latest reincarnation as Pegaso. It is so sad how an incredible car maker and airplane motor company that was a world reference in the early 20th century vanished due to very difficult political and economic period.
This brand deserves more recognition and unfortunately seems that no one cared to preserve their real legacy in their home country. None of the spanish factories were kept: the main one, the Sagrera factory located in Barcelona was demolished and gave birth to a park named "Pegaso Park", whereas the factory in Guadalajara is in abandoned state.
At least in France they invested in transforming the HS Bois-Colombes wind tunnel building into a protected monument and nowadays is a school.
We love you Jay!! Thank you for everything you have done for the car industry.
I LOVE the older cars you have on here. So much character in these vehicles. Bring on the history!
This thing is MAGNIFICENT!!!!!!
Cameron, good to hear your knowledge of your auto's is greatly increasing. Thanks for bringing to all to the table.
Oh, I love seeing the Nethercutt cars being driven. I was telling someone about the Nethercutt earlier today, he seemed excited to go see the collection. Thanks to everyone for sharing this.
I like Cameron, his level of car privilege is not lost on him..
Thank you sir, for passing it on!
I still love the old classic vehicles. For 101 years, straight-six engines runs perfectly for a Hispano Suiza to look this good. Even though I’m still a fan of these classic old American vehicles, but it is in much better shape. Great work Jay 👍🏼
The Tulipwood has always been a favorite car since I was young.
Nethercutt Collection is an under appreciated place to visit in San Fernando. Just up the road from Mission San Fernando and free entry! Incredible collection of running vehicles.
Dear Lord, what a beautiful automobile. I hope this young man appreciates what he has been givven. And to Mister Leno. I wish you were my dad.
Cameron, and his family's cars, are my favorite Jay Leno's garage guests. Hearing this one start up made me smile. Thanks, guys
Jay may have been referring to Edwin Howard Armstrong - not Nikola Tesla - as a 1920s metro NYC based Hispano-Suiza owner. Armstrong invented the superheterodyne radio principle and later perfected the FM broadcast system. His radio circuit inventions earned him a large portion of RCA stock in the 1920s. He and his bride drove to Florida in their Hispano-Suiza (photo looks like a cabriollet) for their honeymoon.
He loved to drive fast vehicles and climb high radio towers.

A beautiful automobile. Cameron gets to bring the best of the best so Jay can drive the best of the best. What a job... I saw that car in Monterey in 1993. Thank you, Cameron and Jay, for sharing this wonderful slice of history...
Always grateful when Cameron comes to visit Jay. Thank You Cam! What a Gem!
More form Nethercutt, please. Thanks for bringing it!!! Please LIKE the video! 👍
Absolutley Fantastic. Thank you, Jay, for your incredible contribution to the History of Motoring. Incredible. All the very best from Johannesburg, South Africa
Do you like living there or if given a choice would you move somewhere else?
There's something about that old world high end craftsmanship that has a feel that can't be beat. I can only imagine what a joy this beauty must be to drive when the quality is such that it virtually jumps out of the screen. Fantastic car!
I used to live nearby, have visited the Nethercutt collection many times. Awesome!
🏆Jay Leno 🏆 the king of 🍀 cars 👀✌️
I always Love watching these Nethercut episodes and Cameron is so talented ,,, Make this a Special Series Jay with the Nethercut , Or collaborate with Donald and Mansions and Motorcars ! An Amazing series of talent and Architects all in one !!
I like this guy very nice manner and he’s great with old Jay, respectful
Jay the pilot that you were trying to remember, his name was Georges Guynemer (12/24/1894-9/11/1917) and he flew a Spad VII which had the Hispano-Suiza V8 that was later built in connection with Wright-Martin and used in the Curtiss JN-4H here in the US. Georges flew up against some of the biggest names in WWI flying and accumulated 54 aerial victories before his death in 1917. He's a favorite of mine as well.
Thank you. Was he 23 years old?
Another great vlog, Jay is like a fine wine just keeps getting better with time.thanks again.🎉🎉🎉🎉
I was just in L.A. ..I wish I knew about this museum (Nethercutt) while I was there. A rolling piece of art!
Awesome piece of tech history kept in original shape by Nethercutt's to behold.
The seat in the back looks amazing !
The leather is pretty sexy.
The nethercutt videos are my favorite. That museum is incredible and it’s really a joy to get to see them drive
If I ever have 1/10th the collection that Jay Leno has I would have died and gone to Heaven! LOL The Nethercutt Collection is absolutely fabulous as well, For now my Franklin and Danbury mint 1:24th collection along with a few CMC models (over 300 of these) fills that void. As for 1:1s I only own 1966 Toronado, 1967 Thunderbird Landau Coupe and a 70 Continental Mark lll with factory sunroof. Like children, I love each one for a different reason.
Seeing Jay Leno driving away in every car is just amazing.
Plus the mirrors attached to the spare tyres is just funny.
Fantastic Auto🥰👏👏👏❤️
Thank you Mr Leno ..
Well Done 👏👏👏
Can't imagine what Jay might Not know lol. A true cornucopia of knowledge. Love these segments
Absolutely stunning automotive art! The craftsmanship is over the top
Thank you. Superb car, lovely guest and Jay drives these so well that he MUST care for the mechanicals!
Made my day seeing this!
Best wishes from George in UK
I love it when Cameron comes by! "He steals parts." 😂 Such a beautiful car. It's really too bad that Hispano Suiza couldn't continue; I guess someone could bring the name back, like Bugatti? Thanks, Cameron, for letting us all see this magnificent automobile (you can't just call it a "car"), and thanks to Jay and the Crew for another great episode to start my week! ✌️❤️🙂🇨🇦
That's probably the best title for such a car: "Mechanical Art"
What a magnificent machine. Fantastic to see this on the road and being driven. Thanks
"He steals parts" OMGosh. I laughed so hard! Thanks again, Cam!!!
I"m always amazed how Jay oragami's himself behind the wheel of these vintage beauties. Gorgeous ride. Thanks Nethercutt museum!
Wow! Another beautiful Hispanio Suiza. perfect.
Ive never heard of this car before, but im absolutely blown away. Awesome video Jay!!!
Thank you for sharing this. Beautiful mechanical art!
Cars from this museum are among my favorites.
Grasshopper is working his way up to sensei. Cameron will be as knowledgeable as Jay in 15 20 years. Good stuff.
Absolutely gorgeous automobile.
Thank you for showing it.
I cannot believe the tachometer goes up in steps of 400!
How incredibly quirky and cool
Really enjoyed that! Thank you Jay and Cameron.
Georges Guynemer (Gee-ne-may) was a French Ace who flew with the Escadrille 3 Les Cigognes ('The Storks'). Their planes had a Stork painted on the sides. He was killed at 22 in 1917. Several French fighter aircraft were powered by HS engines so their use of the Cigogne as a symbol makes a lot of sense. This car is just so incredible, 120 years old and it goes. Name one from 2024 that will be around in 2124. Fantastique!
Absolutely exquisite! Mechanical art is an understatement!!
Just a beautiful work of art wow! The cars from that era
A figure in the New York area who owned a Hispano Suiza was radio pioneer Edwin Howard Armstrong according to Ken Burns' documentary, "Empire of the Air." He invented the electronics that made voice radio possible and invented FM radio. I think he had a home in Long Island. He bought the car to take trips with his wife, and she drove it after his death according to the documentary.
Awesome.
Thanks to all.
Thank you Mr. Leno
Fun fact, the company Hispano Suiza still exists. It's a subsidy of the Safran Group, the French Defense and Aerospace conglomerate.
Another fun fact, after an 80 years break they again build cars... the current model is called Carmen, it's electric, it's rare and very expensive. And it would be awesome if one of them showed up at Jay Leno's garage.
What a fantastic engine compartment. I'm just doing a rare Ford and thinking about doing the same enclosed idea. A real thing of beauty Jay..
would love to see Jay feature some 30's/40's era Delahayes. some of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen.
Thank God for people like Jay giving these criminally under appreciated Hispano Suizas some exposure in today’s automotive culture. Hispanos truly were above and beyond their competition (RR, Bentley, Packard, etc) in many ways, and their aerospace connection (and success within that industry) is truly just as fascinating as their automotive branch. The H6 and J12 will forever be amongst my favourite pre war era automobiles. Thanks Jay.
What a beautiful car. Thanks to Cameron Richards for getting her out and sharing it with us.
One can only imagine that much that collection of vehicles in that museum must be worth. Every one is in better than mint condition.
Gorgeous piece of equipment
OMG WHAT A CAR!!!
It’s gorgeous!
THIS - is what AUTOMOBILE is about!
BRAVO!!!!
JAY LENO IS AN AMERICAN LEGEND.....Thanks again Jay....
Soon as Jay says it another car from the nethercut collection you knows its gonna be a fine machine and great video..cheers guys
Really enjoy these episodes, it's fantastic to see Cameron with all his knowledge on the cars and now he is starting to loosen up in front of camera. Might need to do a few more pushups to keep the hood open though ;) :D Cheers for the vid
Jay, when you were playing with that rear window and you were fidgeting with it I thought for sure you would break it and then of course you would have had to buy it! Nice try! Ha ha. Great auto. Another fascinating piece of history. Keep those videos coming. BTW, prayers for your wife and for you. My wife and I are very familiar with the situation you find yourself in since both of her parents experienced the same issues. God bless.
Work of art.
Most beautiful thing Ive ever seen. Jays got one or two? Hispanos. Beautiful. Everything from Nethercutt is A1.💜🧡❤😜😎
Wow! Mechanical beauty.
Never heard of the Nethercutt Collection until these videos, but it's definitely on my list next time I'm in LA.
Love dashboards. This one is extraordinary.
Nearly twenty years ago I saw the 1925 H6B that Don Nichols was restoring,
still in need of floorboards and some other work.
The engine was on a stand, like a work of art on display
A good long time after that I saw the car again, fully finished.
I took a picture of him standing next to it in the garage.
Then in 2014 it won Best in Class and Best in Show at the first concours in Arizona.
I was happy for him, but not surprised. It was a most impressive car.
What got me most excited was that he later sold it to a collector from France for over $1 million.
Thank you, Mr. Leno for another amazing car review🙏🏽
Thank you for sharing a great piece of engineering and technology with us.
Love these old beautiful cars. Jay, i do miss the ending where your driving into the garage and honking the horn.
She looks beautiful for being over 100 years old! WOW! Definitely one for Woodward for sure!
I think you were both underdressed while driving that automobile. Absolutely georgious! I've got to get out there and see you. Thanks to Caleron for delivering another piece of royality fo us to see.❤❤❤
Jay was wearing his dressed denim.
@@writerconsidered His uniform. An American Treasure!
gorgeous!!
Cameron needs to get working on videos of his cars in a similar fashion to Jay. After all Jay won't be around forever. And I see him as a great torch bearer for sharing car history.
What an incredible and gorgeous machine. 100 years old now and still going strong. It's wild to think that thing weighs less than my focus ST... LOL and almost certainly will outlive it.
I love the gear whine while driving. It's like music playing.
That’s the only kind of jewelry I like because it serves a purpose other than vanity
Incredible!
Another great video about a fabulous car. I think the term "radiator mascot" turned into "hood ornament" when the radiator cap first went under the hood in the 1930's.
