Louise Russell was a world class singer. I did La Traviata with her in 1970, and always wondered what became of her. If anyone knows, I'd love to hear.

Pavarotti at a younger age had a much brighter and forward sound. I liked it. However, I loved the older Pavarotti, too. thanks for posting this.

Pavarotti especially electrifying at that age, in a way that few if any(none in my opinion) matched, none bettered.
