so far the highest quality available was 16khz shelf 20khz peak @ 192 kbps, which is what BBK released as the master track on cd. it also was included in fifa street 2, but with a 32k sample rate (even lower quality). glad to finally have yet another classic pendulum track available at proper 320 kbps!

i made this channel back in 2014 December to support the 'remasteringdatshit' soundcloud account in case it ever ran out of upload time (which it did shortly after). never thought the project would get this far and i'm very happy that it did!
it would not have been possible without contributions from @shredtune, PKP gang, elhornet and many others. i'm super proud of what we've achieved over the course of the past decade.
as for me, (Cherry) hopefully i'll have time to work on some pendu/kp remakes again soon :) after many years of wanting to move countries, I finally moved to Ireland about 3 months ago. still tacking the software dev job market here but hopefully things will be stable soon and I get to stay for good! i'm having such a good time here.

it's such a shame for frankly all music in general that there's no lossless versions of specific tracks. i really wish more value were put into media preservation in general. hearing this track in higher quality makes me feel so happy, it always spoke to me for some reason...

@@0_Mang so far our biggest obstacle was that ripping the vocals by hand was proving to be too time consuming (like, potentially weeks of manual spectral editing) , but now it's been made much easier with AI vocal ripping. i think if i'm really going to return to doin remakes it's gonna be due to AI ripping finally getting to where it needs to be

we've been looking to get our hands on a better copy for many years but the furthest we ever got was an AM radio recording which was of pretty much the same quality. unless if someone from bbc or swire comes forward with a better copy we're out of luck
